Tuesday Afternoon

My day has been surfing and playing guitar. Only problem is, playing guitar really sucks when you're still learning. Today has been "This Train", "Boogie Bass" and "Minuet in G".

I'm taking the Spudder's girlfriend to the beauty school and we are going to have deep conditioning treatments for our curls. You know what they say about girls with curls....

Spent some time drawing and some time playing video games, did the dishes, and took my anti-biotics. Hard to get in any excersize when you are supposed to keep your leg elevated. I've got celulitus again.

WTG Susan.... you saved the rest of LBT from the torturous singing of "There's a Tear in My Beer"... hehehehehe

Man... that hubby of mine is going to have to put something to play CD's in the basement becasue a person simply can't get fired up over the twang twang stuff. :) I love country as much as the next person...lol... however... there is a time and a place for everything.

Well... off to check the din din in the crock...

Vines... I am so sorry you have cellulitis... I know how painful it looks... I can only imagine how painful it is! I hope you get better soon!

Oh Vine Queen, I am so sorry. I have had cellulite a bunch of times, lower left leg, to put in mildly...... it suck's. I was hospitalized twice for it, 10 days on IV. A couple of things I have learned, wear stockings, not the girly ones, the ones you buy at the medical store. Put a pillow under the mattress, and take Water pills. The Water pills really help the swelling. I would rather deal with the cramps from the water pills then deal with the cellulite. My heart goes out to you.

Butch

Susan, shirley you jest! How about the Star Spangled Banner? I gave that one a bit of a go today, also. Do you have any idea that that song has 43 chord changes in it? That was probably the S-L-O-W-E-S-T rendition ever.

What's everyone doing today?

*covers Randy's mouth* You don't need to answer this one. :)

Let's get together at the same time and exercise or do a chore around the house or something constructive. I need the daily motivation!

today I'm camped out on the sofa, with my leg propped up, and not going shopping.

Figures, I come home where we have real shops like Crate & Barrel, Williams & Sonoma, The Bon (okay, it's now called "Macy's" but it will always be The Bon), and Nordies. In Pokey, I could go to KMart or ShopCo, which is a lower scale KMart, there's a Walmart, but I refuse to shop in a wallmart... But I can't go shopping becuase I need to keep my leg elevated!

SNARGLE PAFFLE! NIFF-GIFFIES! and several other bad words too.

Oh my ! The language! :lalala:

Vines, you should start writing a book on your band journey with your hubby. The contrasting progress and your health issues would be of great interest to a LOT of people. That would give you something to do while youre propped up and cursing like a sailor. *grins*

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
