Cost Of Removal?

I'm curious how much your lap band removal's cost you? My insurance will pay 80%. Also, how did you feel after and how long until you felt normal again? Thanks!

I had my band removed about a month ago

so far my docter bills have come to about 65,000, that is including the upper GI, endoscopes and complete hospital stay (there 5 days) I have had to take it slow on reintroducing foods which is ok, I followed my Dr. rules and have recovered quite well..... I was feeling more normal than ever within the first week and as time goes on, its even better! Good luck

I think the back to normal will depend on if you are having the band removed due to complications or because you just want it out?

I had my gallbladder removed at the same time as my band, but they hospital billed my insurance for $63,000.
