I Was Banded On____Since Then I Have Lost____!

So inspiring!! Going through the pre-op process and this is just what I needed to keep me motivated!! Thanks for sharing your successes.

I was banded on 6/8/12 and have lost a total of 28 pounds (9 pre-op, 19 post-op)! Livin' La Vida Lap Band! :P

I was banded a week ago yesterday and have lost 11 pounds since surgery and 50 lb. since June 1, 2012 :)

I was banded on 06/04/012 since then I have lost 17 lbs! What about everyone else?

Hi-

I was banded on June 25, 2012 and today I weigh 225 pounds.

I started at 248 at the 1st doctor's apt and the day of surgery 246.

So I am down a total of 23 pounds.

Last year, I lost 42 pounds and regained 23 pounds - I guess I am right back where I was last year!

How much Fluid do you currently have inside your band?

Today I had my 3rd fill and I am at 6.7cc.

Thats great...

I really would like to lose at a faster rate of 1 pound per week.

But, I take a loss or a gain anyday!

I was banded 7/30 and have lost 14lbs. When I started my dieting in March at my highest weight, I have lost 42lbs!! I go tomorrow for my first follow up and see the dietitian for my next food step, pureed. How fun.

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
