Yeah, we have our first garden this year. I have no idea if anything will actually grow, especially after the hail storm we had last night.

I think my gardening days are over. :( I used to grow many things, but since moving to the mountains can't grow much but pine trees. I don't get much sun and many things will not grow at this altitude. I do try to grow a few things in planters on my deck, but it just doesn't work out well at all. Now I just buy my veggies at the store and farmers market.

This pic what my yard/land looks like.

Nice garden waterchick, i wish mine was that big! @ Humming Bird, I love Rhubarb, one of my summer time favs :) @ Lollicatt Im not sure what could be eating them, is it just the Tomato thats being eatin? If so sounds like ground hogs, we had that problem a few years back, all we did was plant a few extra tomato plants to share with Mr. Groundhog. Then some one on my street caught him in a live trap and released him miles away. GL :) @ Sara75 Yeah i thought we were going to have the same problem, our garden was under Water for a few hours, thankfully all is ok, gl to u. :) @ #4 betheboo I cant believe you picked a tomato already, lucky duck :)

Keep posting everyone

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
