Could the 1/10th cc have put me in the green? My food amounts are very limited and even Water I have to drink slow. My food feels like it stay longer in my stoma. I was concerned that the fill wasn't enough then I was concerned it was too much. I got on the scale this morning and its moving :).

As long as you're not "craving starving climbing the walls hungry", if you don't feel like eating, then don't.

Forget about getting you daily calories in, just go for the Protein and water.......nibble at what you know is good for you.

Food is what got us fat in the first place, so to do without it is not a bad thing.....interpret what I'm really trying to say.

Water may be slow, but keep it up. It will get easier after time.

At least for a little while and see what happens......Congratulations!

THANKS!!! I ddin't even track my calories yesterday. I wasn't really hungry. I had 2 coffees, 1 thin slice bread with bruschetta and thin piece of proscuitto, a little bit of Soup and a few fork fulls of orzo with fontina. The orzo was hard to get down. I felt the food stay around for a while so I couldn't really eat anymore if I wanted to. No hunger and no pain just slow eating. Thanks B!

Ride it for all it's worth and see how it goes. Don't get hung up on starvation modes, plateaus, metabolisms, etc. Maybe later, but now you want to find that "Groove"

Remember any weight loss is a really good thing, even a pound!!! Lets not forget that 1lb a week over the course of a year is 52lbs :D

So don't be too negative or quick to jump on board the next solution if what you're doing at the moment is still working. I always say that you should squeeze what you can out of every solution, before you go trying anything else, especially if it's been working for you up to now.

A little hunger at times is still a natural part of weight loss I'm afraid

Ok so I know that I shouldn't but I did, just to test how much food I could eat. Last night I had 1/2 big mac minus 1 bun 1/2 small french fries and 1 sundae. I stayed under 1200 calories yesterday. I felt satisfied and full. I waited 20 minutes to eat the sundae. After that meal I think I realize that I may need another small fill. I don't think that I should be able to eat that much in one meal. Am I wrong? I feel like I am so close but right now I am thinking I need another fill.

I am a bit confused here....Why in the world would you go to McDonalds and order this food. If you were eating your Protein you would probably not be hungry...but you added french fries and a sundae!! lol....I don't think you need a fill, I think you just need to eat the proper foods. Your band is a tool for you...you still have to make good and healthy food choices!! Just my advice

I did mention this before:

You are right and I hadn't had McDonalds since before my surgery. A moment of mental weakness that I am not proud of but i am a recovering food addict lol. Believe or not for me burgers/ ground beef and ice cream doesn't go down easily for me. If I try to eat it too fast it hurts so yesterday when it went down easily I just thought maybe I needed a fill.

I had been carefully tracking calories and eating "proper" foods and still getting hungry and not losing weight. Then I said f*ck it that night and had McDonald's. Again I am not proud of it. I do think this last tiny fill of 1/10th cc so far seems it is doing the trick. No hunger, no pain and very small amounts of foods and my scale IS moving in the right direction.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
