Lap Band In Italy

My husband is in the USAF and we just got orders to Italy leaving in aug. I'm scared I won't be medically cleared because of the band or I'll have to take all of the fluid out.... Anyone ever pcs'd overseas with lap band??

Hello! I lived in Italy for 13 years. Was on camp Darby for 6 and then live as a resident for the rest. I had all three of my children in the hospitals over there. There is no bedside manner, no frills in the hospitals but the doctors are top notch. If you happen to have to use the medical care in Italy do not be afraid, you will be in good hands.
