I'm 5'6"

241 pounds

I haven't been clothes shopping yet. I have 3x scrub pants that I wear to work but they're HUGE! My 2x scrub pants and almost too big.

I have size 22 jeans that I could barely squeeze into before surgery and now I can slip them off without unbuttoning or unzipping.

I'm waiting to lose a little more before I go start trying stuff on.

I'm 5'2" and started at 304 lbs and was in a very tight size 22 (I should have been wearing 24). The 22's are now getting baggy and I think another 10 lbs I will try to get into some 20's.

Started at 5'7", 240 pounds, and snug size twenty-two. Now at 145 and this week I bought a pair of size 9/10 Wrangler Q Baby jeans. AND the size 7/8 fit everywhere but the waist, which gave me a slight muffin top. 7/8. I thought I was dreaming when the 9/10 zipped up!

I am also 5'1 but I weigh 240!!! Yikes! I haven't worn jeans or pants without a size of large or extra large so I have no clue what size I am. If I had to guess, probably a 22?

When i had the surgery i was in a tight 22/24. All my clothes had to be bought at Torrid, lane bryant and avenue. Now i wear a very baggy 12. So i am starting to try on 10s. I have went from 3x to a medium! A great feeling is walking into one of those stores and asking for a 12 and they look at me crazy ( well kinda with a dirty look and attitude) and say we don't sale that size here! Btw... I am 5'4.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
