5 days post op and heartburn/reflux

I am 5 days post op and still on an all liquid diet. (have been since 2 weeks before surgery) 3 Protein shakes per day and 64 ounces of sugar free, caffeine free liquids. I tried to go to bed and as soon as I laid down, I started feeling that familiar feeling burning rising up and landing just behind my breastbone.

I did two things differently today. I added some Peanut Butter to my shake. I also had several "Crystal Light" hard candies (which are sweetened with sorbitol).

I am on a PPI (Prevacid) and I have been for about 5 months. I took it today (emptied the capsule into some sugar-free Jello and ate it, per my doc's suggestion).

Any thoughts on what could be causing heartburn? My usual triggers are overeating, wine, beer, tomato sauce and very spicy food. All of which I cut out of my diet nearly 5 months ago.
