Old threads/posts

I love this site and I am glad it exists and I don't mean to complain but I find it so frustrating that I read a post I am interested in and then I find the thread is from like 2009 or 2008. Isn't there any way to archive old outdated threads and posts? There are entire groups that have no posts at all and some that haven't had posts in years.

Is there only one Admin/Moderator?
