new puppy!! we need a name

Oh she is SO adorable...I'm jealous too. Though my husband would divorce me I think if I came home with another pet. I don't have any name suggestions though...sorry. I'm not good with names. I let hubby and the kids name our dog Iggy. I sound really stupid calling him. LOL

Missy is good! Little Missy is good for formal dog outings! My fur-butts are named Stewie and Katie. They are a sweet golden/lab mix and golden retriever. DeLarla, I to have been accused of the spoiling thing. Only my husband says "You wrecked my dogs!"

My cousin and his wife named their dog....D.O.G. pronounced DEE OH GEE sounds eccentric but easy to spell. Who would have thought!

Sorry, but you can't call her Bandit or Zoe or Muffin because those are all on the list of most popular names. Name her Lilly Fields or Flooberjoober or anything as long as it's original!

I like all the "e" ends.... Hailey, Bailey, etc.

What about "Baby" (another "e" ender)?

She's a cutie.

I read a book about dog discipline that said dogs respond to double vowel sounds. If you want a well-trained animal, call him Oooh-Oooh, or MooMoo, or Chi Chi, Voodoo, Fifi. Get it? Anything with a double vowel for a good baby.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
