What Diet To Follow Immediately After Lap Band Removal?

My band was finally removed on 7/13. I've been confused on what diet to follow since then.

I asked my surgeon if my diet should be anything like it was when I first got the band...start with Clear liquids, full liquids, then soft foods, etc..... and all he told me to stick to were "Protein shakes"....? dry.gif

I tried that the first few days, along with other liquids, but the thought of more Protein shakes are pretty much making me sick at this point.

I started eating brown rice yesterday, soft veggies like cauliflower today, and just now a little chicken for dinner. Am I doing anything wrong?
