All right, So I'm 5 weeks out from surgery...I feel GREAT, I'm down 30 pounds, my eating has been good and healthy...but I'm struggling with my morning schedule to have enough time to get some food in me...What do you guys grab "on the go" to eat?

Sometimes I skip Breakfast if I am not hungry - When I am on the go I will whip up a choc Protein Shake with half of a small banana or a yogurt adn half a banana (you can eat these if you are in aa rush since they are :sliders: and you have less of a chance of sliming and/or vomit :D

I don't even try to eat anything until lunch time. Its a VERY common problem.

My normal breakfast is 6 ounces of greek yogurt and 1/4 cup of Kashi mixed in. If I'm in a super rush I do a Protein Shake.< /p>

Not really. I know a lot of bandsters (myself included) that can't eat bananas.

I make my Protein Shakes for the next day the day before, so then I just pour some out at breakfast time and I'm good to go! :D

I keep hearing about chia seeds, and I saw them in the store and pondered getting some... so they're really as great as I keep hearing? I think I want to get some.

Lately, I have been doing Protein Shakes because I was having trouble getting all of my Protein in but I used to do either greek yogurt or oatmeal...I would just throw it in my lunch bag and eat it at my desk when I got to work. Hard boiled eggs also work well...if you peel them right after you make them and store them in a ziploc then all you have to do is grab and go...

I usually eat sliced turkey from the deli. Usually 4oz of turkey fills me up. Sometimes I add a slice of cheese to eat with it. I just munch on it in the car on my way to work. (I know you are supposed to sit at a table, concentrate and eat, but I just cant do that)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
