that is a fear of mine...to an extent. I fear that I will lose weight and my wife will start to get jealous and wonder if other females are hitting on me a lot and then she'll get more self-conscious about herself...etc

I am recovering from a Tummy Tuck and hernia repair. Im 6 weeks out. My wife is protective of me, she does worry to an extent. But our sex life has taken to new heights. We are both enjoying my new body.

Its unbelievible how i get treated now. People are alot friendlier to me. I lost 75 pounds plus 7 pounds of skin and fat taken off with TT.

  • Well I guess my Situation is a little bit different. I am a 2 time loser in marriage but I was banded when I met my girl friend. The only thing that seems to bother her is the port bump on my belly

I'm morbidly obese and have 120 lbs. to lose. Though many of the women I know are extremely yummy' date=' I don't have access to their magic bits because I get relegated to 'friend' status. Have any of you guys found that you get intimate access to your hot female friends once you lose your excess weight or do they ever become able to see you that way?[/quote']

In short yes, but first you have to value yourself and your time. Don't always be available, flirt with your hot friends, have fun, be happy with you. Women are attracted to confidence, I didn't say cockiness I said confidence. ) I had a really hot married friend tell me after I lost 100lbs (I was still 315) your in your 40's, single, have a good job, your a good dad, you own a home and you always have a smile on your face. You're not an alcoholic, nor a drugs addict, never been in prison... You're Brad Pitt. Keep reminding yourself your Brad motherfucking Pitt.

The newfound attention from the opposite sex was humbling. I'm married, and the attention and looks that I am receiving now sometimes get me in trouble. I've always been a friendly guy... Chatty and all, but the friendliness gets confused with me being flirty. Not gonna lie, the jealousy wifey feels and expresses does feed the ego a bit. I dont and wont act on anything... i care and love my wife too deeply to throw it away on a whim or fantasy.

Everyone does receive me better. I've seen it... From getting a bit of extra service when out for a meal, a checkout clerk throwing in a quarter for me if I dig for some change, or just that extra smile.... Wow... And to be taken seriously at work too is an added bonus... All this helps boost the confidence which I lacked for being heavier. I'd always had a bit of an inferiority complex, and its slowly going away. The hard part is keeping the ego in check, as things can get out of control super fast..

Gotta remember to be the same friendly guy as I've always been know, but with a humble touch of confidence

I don't think any grown man who uses the term "magic bits" is going to get laid anyway, regardless of what he weighs.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
