So, I was banded on Dec 20th, 2010. I've experienced an issue several times when I first start eating where food feels like it is getting caught in my throat. I can feel the food in the lower part of my throat and have no problem breathing. This has been independent of the level of chewing. I've made sure to chew the food, yet this has still happened to me. The odd thing is that once this passes I usually have no problems afterwards. I can eat as much as I want, so I'm inclined to think that it has nothing to do with an issue of overfilling my pouch. I have thrown up from this twice, which took very little to get the food to come back up. Both times the food was like soup and wasn't in there for very long. I have a 4cc fill.
