Officially banded as of 2/4/11

Well, its official. I am now banded and i can't tell you how happy i am that i decided to do this. Since i first started this journey back in April of 2010 i have lost almost 40lbs. Whats great about that is that i have done all of that without the help of the band. I am starting to really notice the weight loss and i feel great. I have never been skinny in my entire life but i feel that now i have been given a chance to get the life i have always wanted and i don't want to let it slip away. I am so scared about my band slipping ever since surgery. I am also scared about drinking too fast or consuming more than 6 oz of soup at a time. I can't wait to go back to eating regular food again.
