Cost to remove the band??

I have been dealing with bile reflux and esophagitis for 4 months now. If I don't heal soon I am afraid the next recommendation will be to remove the band. I have been completely unfilled since mid December. I was self-pay and have only had it in for one year. I paid nearly $19,000 to put it in. Is there anyone out there(self-pay) who paid to have it removed and how much did it cost? Thanks,
