Less then 300lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I weighed my self and it's been about 5 years since the scale has said 300lbs. It said 298.9lbs. I know that it fluctuates but just the idea that it was less then 300lbs. Since Oct 22 the begnning of my post op diet I have lost about 43lbs. This is great I can't believe how the weight has been coming off. I work in a clean room enviorment in the semiconductor industry and are required to wear a bunny suit/smock. The one I had a month ago is huge on me where before it was tight. I am so thrilled about this whole journey. I know there will be up and downs and I have had both so I must just move on and enjoy the ride.

Awesome news and congratulations!! What an inspiration you are. My goal is to be under 300 lbs. by the end of the year. I was banded Monday and weighed 322 lbs. before being prepped for surgery. Forge ahead my fellow bander! :D

Thanks for the comments everyone.

To be honest with you the only thing I can give as a tip is keep your eye on the prize of being healthy and happy. I weighed 343 and now weigh 298.9 and would like to be at around 220. I have not had any fills yet. I had the surgery 3 weeks ago. Just stay focused and continue on.

Congrats!!!!!

Keep your head up high, take it one step at a time and set many mini-goals. 295, 290, 285, etc... Before long you'll be under 200.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
