Newbie from New Zealand.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum but am excited to be here!!

I am booked for my lap band surgery on 17th November 2010.

I am 18 years old and live in New Zealand. I am currently finishing my first year at university before I go back to Auckland to have my surgery.

I am nervous yet excited about this journey, I wish it could begin sooner. I am a bit apprehensive about how it will be due to my age and whether it will cause frustrating restrictions for the rest of my life. But I am positive that this is the best option for me.

I enjoy reading everyones stories on this forum, you have all inspired me. It would be great to talk to some people who have been through this, so feel free to comment and give me some advice.
