A thread for those quickly approaching onederland

Recommended Posts

I weighed 210.8 this morning and I'm DYING to kiss that 200 goodbye on the scale. Once the kids are in camp I'll be able to pick up my exercise and then, hopefully, onederland here I come! It makes me want to come up with a fake illness so that I can step on a scale at the doctor's office and take that big clunker on the bottom from the 200 to the 150 mark.

Who else is anxiously awaiting and close to this milestone?

Hey, I am right there with you. I weighed in 208 this morning. My half-way point is 198, which is also in onederland. I can't wait to get there!

I'm almost there as well!!! I was 204 this morning. I'm so scared I won't get passed 200. I haven't weighed less than 200 for as long as I can think!! Good luck yall!!

I weighed in at 215 this morning and have begun to think about how it will feel to be under 200. It's been 10 years since I was. It is almost unimaginable. I find myself dropping sizes faster now. I am more than half way to goal and very pleased with the results of this surgery. We will get under the O, and soon. Onederland is nearer everyday.

I weighed 211 this morning. I have not been in the one's in like 5-6 years so I will be glad when I get there again. My goal in Feb. when I had surgery was to be under 200 lbs. by the time my cousin's wedding roles around. Her wedding is in October so I should accomplish my goal!

I am at 201... so close I can taste it!!! 199 is also a major milestone for me because it marks 50 pounds lost and halfway to goal. I'm really hoping to hit it by the end of this month. :->

Oh, I also have a little tip for all of you coming up on onederland. I changed my screensaver to '199' (3D text that just spins around). I think it helps keep me focused on my goal.

I'm hovering between 208-209lbs. I've been exercising like a crazy woman and the scale is going down again. I was stuck at 211-213lbs for a little bit.

I'm floating at 210-209 this morning. I've lost 50lbs. I NEED to be 199, so I understand the anxiousness. This is for me. Though my goal is maybe a size 10 or 12(I figure that might be 160ish(I'm 5'6)

Monday morning I stepped on the scale & it said 199.5. I'll admit- I cried! More than changing sizes this was a huge moment for me. I have been in the 200's almost half of my life & all of my adult years. I never thought I would make it but I have & I'm 20 lbs. (well 19.5) away from my first goal.

Keep working hard & join me in onederland- it is amazing!!!

I felt compelled to jump on board! I know I still have 20 lbs. to go but can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have joined other threads too and it's nice to get to know a group of people. And congrats on doing so well...to all of us!!! Best wishes!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
