Dr Daniel Huacuz He Is Inamed Certified

Recommended Posts

No, I said that when they interview doctors and they ask the question if there have been any complications with any of their patients...if the response is 'no'.....that's when they should take that doctor off the list for lying.

The response you should hope for is, 'yes. The band is a weight loss surgery that has risks associated with it. And the things that can go wrong are ___________." and they may just tell you about certian patients they've had...without disclosing names and such.

Right, and people right here, (DawnaT) told you that Huacuz sat there and said he has never had a complication with a patient when he was doing a FL seminar. According to you (and I agree) we should all cross Huacuz off any list for potential doctors.

However, your doctor DOES disclose names. It was Catz that said she called about Adrienne and Dr. H told her what happened.

Good thing for he and his coordinators that HIPAA laws do not apply to Mexico. However, the coordinators in the US posting her private info ... that might be a different story.

There are several good and skilled surgeons in Mexico. Huacuz simply isn't one of them.

IN YOUR OPINION

Look, until you've been his patient, I don't think you have a right to determine his skill level. Unless you've spoken to ALL his patients, not just the ones with complications, I don't think you have a right to determine his skill level.

Sitting on a message board reading stories does not qualify you to make such a determination, IN MY OPINION

Been there, done that, LOVE him. Thank you.

One of the first questions I would ask myself in finding a reputable surgeon is if the surgeon has a good reputation. (DUH!) If I found one who has a number of patients with serious complications, I would move on to another surgeon who did not have such a record. If he seems to have a larger than usual number of complications, I would run like hell.

I would also ask myself why a surgeon would resort to loading a talk forum with claims about how good he was for one single patient (the purported author of the post), his cuteness, niceness, likability, etc. Wouldn't a reputable doctor not need that kind of advertising to build a good practice?

Just wondering to myself, of course. But I don't see threads entitled "Dr. (fill in the blank) he is certified" or anything similar except about this one surgeon, whose posts keep reappearing and reappearing and reappearing like it's on a timetable where some employee is required to bring it up at set intervals.

I would be very interested in seeing this, please point me in the direction where I can see this with my very own eyes.

Thank you!

Where did you see this alleged "loading" that he allegedly did?

The fact of the matter is reputation is EVERYTHING , and like someone else said I would NEVER go to a surgeon who has a " questionable " reputation .

This doctor has just that. Before you start questioning those who are saying "negative' things about this or any doctor . Do your homework about the negative threads they are talking about .

Dont just dismiss them . The "alleged" threads are not "Alleged" they are all OVER this board and others . Just open your eyes and find them .

As someone else said , Start at page one of this thread.

Also go through and take a look at the other threads in the " doctors and Hospitals " section of this board.

How many of them start with " MY DOC IS THE BEST " and how many start with " Anyone use doc so and so " 99% are the "anyone use doc so and so "

Chances are the " MY DOC IS THE BEST " are loaded threads.

Come on does anyone not see issues with that ??

Oh, so you can PROVE that these are from him? Great, I would love to see the proof, until then it is all speculation. Yes it is odd, but just the same ~ I could create a new profile and start posting things such as, "Oh, Dr. Ortiz is da best in da world, he my surgon and I luv him, you go to him and you love him too.....etc."

Or something like that, then you would think I am a schill for Dr. Ortiz, when in fact, I am just trying to make him look stupid for posting ridiculous posts. Who the hell knows why people do what they do, but unless you have personal experience with him or first hand knowledge, maybe you should just talk about things you know are fact.

We are all completely anonymous here, you don't know unless you can PROVE it was him.

People who have been on these boards for a long time know who posts and what coordinators posts FOR The docs and that is just as bad .

He's been busted before , he's busted himself by saying "I" on threads

It does not take long before he does it to himself.

Believe what you want.

People who know the truth know what that is. Im glad you did not have any complications from Dr H. Be thankful .

But dont discount what other people who have not been so lucky say . Im not an idiot i know doc have issues , People who go around and saying " MY DOC Would NEVER do anything wrong or he does NOT Have complications " are fooling themselves .

I would not go to a doc that says he's never had a complication , its just not true.

I agree with Mindy in that if a doctor says he's never had complications is either performing his very first procedure or is lying.

But I have noticed that someone will post something good or bad, then someone else will post their experience and lo and behold repeat posters keep slamming that doctor.

Have a great experience - post it.

Didn't - post it.

And leave it alone. Someone posting multiple times to 'prove' a doc is bad is just as guilty as those who go undercover to post that a doctor is good. It's all suspect.

Dr. Huacuz was perfect for me. But he wasn't for others. Just like other docs on here....many raves and good reviews...but on the flip side there is the dark side that they don't disclose or just don't know about.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
