Wow you ate 191 and in a size 12! Awesome! How tall are you?

I am 195 and in a size 16 I am 5 "8 1/2

Thanks to everyone who has replied!! Keep up the answers!

I dont go by dress sizes, because you can cheat a dress size WWWAAAAAAAYYYY to easy, especially depending on the cut. An A line is very forgiving and deceiving. I'm all about the jean size. I started at 285 and in a size 24 jeans from lane bryant. I am currently down to 191 and in a size 12 from old navy. For me it takes about 15 pounds to go down a true size....but that's just me.

I've lost 25lbs and not even 1 dress size yet !! I carry most of my weight in my abdomen and have lost most of my weight in my thighs and butt---so now I just have a saggy ass and baggy legs on pants that fit my waist :mad2:.

Same exact problem lol--

I'm currently 189lbs in a size 14 (pant, skirt and dress) and now wear a size L top. This from 230lbs and size 18-20 bottoms and dresses and 2xl tops.

On average, I've dropped a size w/ every 14 pounds lost.

I always thought it was 10 lbs a size too, but for me that hasn't really been the case. I am down 64 lbs and I went from a 26 and now I am in mostly 18s and some 20s. I just got a fill last week and have dropped 4 pounds since then, so I will see how long it takes me to drop another size. Congrats to everyone with the weight loss, keep up the good work!!

I am 181 and a size 12P in a Tahari suit which seem to be cut small. I am 5 4" - I lost about 60 lbs and went from an 18 maybe a 20 to he 12. Today people said they thought I was 150. I'm muscular though. Been riding dressage faithfully for years used to weight train once upon a time but now its just the riding (horses that are difficult to move around ie lazy).

Yep 191 (actually 192 this morning) and a size 12. I am 5' 7". Most of my pants are 14's and to big I have 2 pairs os jenas that are 12's, one from old navy (sweetheart cut) and a pari of levis. They both fit very well, no muffin top and i can actually slide them right on. :smile2:

I am right there with you MrsCabes...I am down 35 and my pant size hasnt changes at all. my bra size however has...and my face and neck are slimmer. I'm ready for the bottom half to start shrinking!

Just like some of the others, I am down 35lbs and have not changed to a different size in jeans. I am tall (5'11"), so I think that is part of the issue. I will admit that my jeans definitely seem to be sagging in the back, though. I am just relieved that I am finally seeing some type of change!

i lost about 100 pounds and 10 dress sizes 16 to 6 so maybe the 10 pound rule worked for me!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
