SE Minnesota/Rocheser- Preop meetings

Anyone have their surgery done at Mayo or Olmsted Medical? My wife has a BMI of 36 and over 100lbs overweight. She is worried about not getting approved. She has Mayo insurance (Mayo is self-insured) and is a nurse there. Would the pre-condition of depression and undiagnosed back issues help her qualify?
