  1. I totally understand.and I wish there was a brain band along with the Lapband.it takes a lot of will power to eat correctly even in smaller amounts.that's why I hate when people say you took the easy way out with surgery. But it's a process one day at a time. Like others have said it's hard early on but your taste buds change and as the weight comes off your desires change. I still eat crap sometimes but not as often or as much as I use to. I think because I have consistently lost weight each month it helps me not sabotage myself. Sorry I don't have any concrete answers except to say it gets easier to eat right the longer you do it.
  2. From what I know about Walmart they will not pay.I'm surprised to hear that they offer insurance. When my cousin got hired they had California's Medicare forms as part of the new hire paperwork.
  3. Surgery was April 6,2012 not 22 LoL
  4. Freaking out a bit is normal. For me yes I'd do it again. The first few days were a little hard.I wasn't hungry but felt the post op Gas in my shoulder. Pre op diet 3/23/12 Surgery 4/6/22 Starting weight 339 Current weight 280 59 lbs down since march , not the fastest weightless but pretty consistent. I have had no real complications.a couple minor stuck episodes from eating too fast or too big a bite.Nothing serious. My only regret is not getting it done sooner !! Keep us posted ! Good luck !
  5. Wether u keep the band a secret or not when the weight starts to melt off people will ask and give opinions.when I lost weight before people kept asking how ( it was Atkins low carb high protein) they always asked if I should be eating something and gave unsolicited helpful and not so helpful tips on what to do to lose more. questioning every step I took and bit I ate. I think it just comes with weightloss.choosing to tell about the band is ur choice buy if ur successful at any weightless effort , the comments will keep coming !
  6. Seems like u may need to ADD calories :-)
