I'm At War With My Band
- Just Ate Solid Food
For the first time. Banded 4 weeks ago today. So I chose a small chili from Wendy's. it tasted so good I almost cried! Can a small chili really only be 210 calories?!! That is supposedly right but it tasted so good and now i feel guilty. Like i cheated! I am going to- Anyone Getting Banded In September?
You poor thing!! Maybe your doctor has another alternative?!!- Anyone Getting Banded In September?
I have the SAME problem. Even though I have not even had my first fill, I do sometimes feel nauseous. I think it happens when I drink something to fast or also when I work out (which is rare thus far!) and maybe overdue it. What is Zofran?- Anyone Getting Banded In September?
Hey Everyone! I was banded 9/28 and am down 22 pounds as of yesterday. Today it has been 4 weeks. I do not have my first fill until 11/08 and I am more than ready for it!! I am pleased with progress thus far. I need to work out more though, I have been bad about that for sure. I am loving all the support and info here, it has made the 4 weeks easier to get through!- C25K Question
So I started this two days ago. Skipped yesterday because of a crazy late workday. Are we allowed to skip days or should I just start over?- Food.vs.exercise
Working out will be necessary. There are threads solely about exercise. Even if you lose all the weight you want, a sedentary lifestyle is never good for anyone. Trust me, you will hit plateaus and will have no choice but to start working out. Nothing magic about the band. Still gotta do the hard work.- Grugling
I have had gurgling as well. I figured it was a bug or something. It feels weird. I took some of the anti nausea pills I had left over from surgery and it helped. If it continues, it sure what to do. I am going to bring up with doctor next appt.- Told To Stop Jogging
I feel so lucky. I see Dr. Ray in Bloomington Indiana. They have been so amazing and supportive and attentive thus far. I have never had any of these issues. I am 3 weeks out at this point and could never imagine Dr. Ray or any of his staff being this misinformed or uncaring. You deserve better! Take your records and run. I would also put your complaints in an email to the doctor. If you are gonna leave, share your experience so maybe they can improve and work on not letting your experience happen to the patients that use this facility in the future!- Itchy Itchy Scratchy Scratchy
You could take some Benadryl. It has helped me in the past with itching.- I Cheated!!
First let me say I have been very disciplined on my liquid diet the past two weeks and lost 14 pounds. BUT, after working so hard, I cheated tonight and had 8 oz. of Skinnygirl wine. Total of 160 calories. It was great, but now feeling guilty.- My Wife's Surgery Day Hell!!!
First thing you should do is publicly name the doctor and facility!!!- Day 10 Post-Op And Feel Great!
I feel the same! I felt do bad last week but right around the 9th day began feeling halfway normal!! I am now at 12 days and it keeps getting better!!- Bleeding At Port Incision
I was banded 7 days ago. Have had lots of bruising. This morning I reached down to get something and it hurt a bit. A few minutes later I checked and was bleeding from port incision. Like a good amount on my dressing, calling doc. Has this happened to anyone?- Anyone Getting Banded In September?
