  5. I had my full TT done October 15th, 2013. So I am almost 2 months since I had it. I have to say I am very proud of how beautiful my tummy looks compared to what it use to from loosing 80 pounds and being streched when I was pregnant 6 years ago with my twins. Yes my insurance paid for mine, only the excess skin removal because I had a rash under it, the actual tightening of my abs was $1,800.00. For the first three weeks I was not able to sleep in the bed, I slept in my recliner. It does take a long time to go back to feeling like a normal "human" again. I did have three drains that I had to keep emptied or they would get blood clots in them. My awesome husband was there the first week to help me. He had to bath me while I held my drains. I never knew how much you use your abs until after I had surgery. It hurt to sneeze, cough, or even laugh. I have returned back to work at 6 weeks, I just have a weight restriction. I did have 1 CC taken from my lap band two weeks before I had my surgery. My plastic surgeon did move my port because it had come loose from the wall. So he moved it under my rib cage, I don't have the low profile port because that was going to cost me extra out of pocket. I did spend the night in the hospital and went home the next afternoon. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me.
  6. I just got approved for my excess skin removal, its scheduled for October. Yeah I can't wait
  7. I had to show I was getting treatment for my rash under my skin fold, they wanted three months of me getting treatment and they approved it. But it's not for a tummy tuck, because tummy tuck is considered to be cosmetic, this is for the excess skin removal but im going to pay the extra to get my abs tightened. Good luck.

  9. I am nervous, I am meeting with my plastic surgeon today to check on getting my stomach done and possibly a lift on my breast since I had a reduction 10 yrs ago. I would like to also get my inner thighs done, they look bad since I have lost weight, not sure if insurance will pay for everything.

  13. Just went to the dr last week, they did alot of blood work to check my thyroid because I told her I was freezing all the time. So I am just waiting for the results. Dr said it could be I have lost fat so that was some of the padding that was keeping me warm.

  15. I have been banded 1 1/2 years and have lost around 80 pds. I am always cold since I've lost weight, does anyone else have this happen? Thanks
  16. I have 6 cc's, I can do sirloin as long as it's medium well and very small bites. I have a problem with chicken and shrimp.
  17. I just got a fill two days ago and I am still on liquids. I am on a antibiotic for a bacterial infection. When I take my med. it really makes me feel sick since I don't have real food on my stomach. What can I do to help with not feeling sick? Thanks
  18. Thanks for everyone's reply's.
  19. Ok hubby and I just recently joined the gym. I have been trying to do some light jogging, but I get really emabarrassed because I have hanging skin on my stomach and it flops and makes a noise when I am jogging. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do to help, are there compression garments that can help until I can try to get a tummy tuck to remove excess skin? Thanks for your help.
  20. I love to eat salads, but I love to have ranch dressing all over it. What do yall use on your salads to make sure you don't get stuck???
  21. You sound swollen, I would try a few days of liquids before I went to get a unfill. Good luck.

  23. Checking in for my last weigh in for the challenge. It has been a big challenge with Christmas and sweets being involved during December. I had a hard time staying away from the pecan pie, lol. I did have some left in the fridge, so I chunked it last night. I am at 160.8, so total loss for the month of December is 3.6 pds. Stupid pecan pie, why do you have to taste so freaking good!! LOL
  24. Mine sticks out also. I was banded in March 2011 and have lost a little over 70 pds. You really can notice it when I am laying down. It looks like I have a little alien wanting to come out. LOL
  25. Checking in for this week. I am a few days behind, didn't have time to put my weight down on Tuesday. I am at 159.8 today, not sure exactly how much I am down since last week. Total weighloss so far is 74.2.
