I chose the band for the same reasons many responders said but here us a chart that compares band sleeve and bypass. I stopped tracking 2 months ago. I stopped losing been stuck for 2 months.I would track a day here or there but not consistently. I also stopped coming here consistently for accountability. I think both are important and not doubg them stalked my weightloss .i am starting back tomorrow and also meeting with a trainer tomorrow evening. I will also come back here mire consistsntly.. Everything is a tool we have to use them all :-)

Me too same airline, same response ! showed my rapid reward card , told them I fly every week . The agent actually looked up my number to verify.it happened to be my 3rd flight that week.The good thing about southwest is that there is no assigned seating.it's open seating. so I actually try to make my self " spread across" the seat or put my bag in the seat next to me and avoid eye contact from people looking for " permission " to take the seat ! It's only hard if the plane is full and every seat is taken or I don't get the pre board ticket or am running late and there are only middle seats left.

At 310 lbs. I was able to fit in the seat.( barely ) the arm rests bring u in from the side so ur weight is pushed forward.It's uncomfortable cuz the arm rest can dig into ur hip. I was flying every week all of 2011 at 310-315 lbs. I was asked only once to buy an extra seat( I refused) .you can ask to move or switch after everyone is seated or pray no one is in the seat next to you so you can keep the arm rest up which allows ur butt to spread a bit....good luck

I lost 58 lbs with out much exercising except and occasional walk. But I hit a wall and didn't loose anything for 2 months.the last two weeks I started walking 30 min 3 xs a week and the weight is starting to come off again.

For me I added creamy soups: tomato, cream Of broccoli, the best one was cream of shrimp that one tasted like great seafood and got me through the worst part , you can do it !! Good luck.

Wow... are we really still talking about this ?! I don't really understand "being offended". If God does not help you with weight loss or if he does NOT EXIST to you, keep scrolling. what's the big deal ? why are you offended by a God that u say doesn't exist? Let it go !! People are encouraged by it and find strength in it to stay motivated and lose.

Glad you found your solution. Every wls is a huge deal .Sorry the Lapband didn't work for you .but glad you didn't let that stop you from getting healthy another way.I've lost 60 lbs since march .I've got a long way to go but I'm Inching a long and the band is truly a God-send for ne :-) good luck to you and your husband .

Thank you all for the encouraging words.it's actually been a real tough year starting last October but my baby having seizures took the cake.we are getting better and moving Forward.the hugs and prayers are very much appreciated !! :-)

Ok so June I lost 8 lbs July 8 lbs august 9 lbs September 2 lbs..... Breaks !! WTF ! This would be the point I would get discouraged and go back to my old habits. But this time with the help of the band not so!! I had a lot of personal issues happen including losing a job and my 3 yr old son started having seizures and diagnosed with epilepsy.I gained 5 lbs early in the month during his hospital stay and still had a net loss ! Only possible with the band. Now that we have jumped those hurdles , I am looking ahead and moving FORWARD !! :-)
