  2. Why does that left shoulder hurts??? I mean - what is the explanation? It has been 6 months post op and once in a while I get it and it just baffles - why?
  3. Yeah, I start burping... thats when I make sure I stop ... also my left shoulder sometimes hurts
  4. My doctor told me that I can only eat 600 calories a day... but when I read these forums I see so many different numbers... are there some official guidelines? I am 5'11" so it seems a little drastic...
  5. I am also hypo - I keep taking my syntroid
  6. dont worry - just go to walgreens and get a pack of their brand birth controls... my problem is that my loestrin gave me munchies... 5lbs worth of it
  7. Well, I desided to go on the safe side, also because I am a little bit conscious of my scar that is still dark. But I did go to a very nice website and got me nice ones... I already used one once and I love it... I wish it wouldnt have crazy lime flowers on it

That is what i looked like before gaining 100lbs in 3 years...
  10. hi there... I am DDD and as I loose weight it seems that they are traveling down my body. How much is usually a breast lift? Where is the best place to do it? ( if you are happy with yours - which doctor did you use and where? ) What ia the recovery time and most important one - does anyone have picture of the scars? I appreciate any input.
  11. OK, I am the stubborn one. I cannot eat 3 meals a day and cannot stop snacking. In 60 or so days I did loose 40lbs but now I gained 6lbs since I stopped smoking. I am on my plateau and gaining weight because I cannot stop eating... I feel no restriction at all... None whatsoever. I went to workout once after my surgery but it made me so hungry that I am afraid to do it again... I know what I am doing wrong yet I cannot stop myself. Am I the only one? I did take a new picture for the first time after surgery and my face has slimmed down a lot.
  12. I am totally lost in this website... I am opening one post and replying to another one.. Sorry... Confused.
  13. oh, it's beautiful! What a great idea...
  14. Ok, here is the deal with my doctor... I have spoken to my nutritionist and she asked me what my goal weight was. However, my surgeon never asked me what my goal weight was - he looked at the chart ( height to weight ratio ) and told me what my weight loss goal will be. I was very happy because I was hoping to loose 70lbs when he told me to loose 110. I am very happy with my surgeon.
  15. I was also told that I had a hernia repair after the surgery. It was hurting for a little bit, but it might have been the band itself. I am very very happy that he discovered it. He showed me the picture before and after he repaired it - I was shocked - it was big. So, definetely do it,
  16. Great thread. I was banded October 6th, 2010 and already lost 32lbs
  17. Hey there fellow bandsters... I do agree with you - my after surgery week was horrible even though they put me prescription painkillers ( the strongest they had ) I am feeling better now though. It get better with time so don't worry.
  18. Wow, that is the first thing I noticed when I read the original thread - 1bm? I could partially relate though - it took me 4 days once to finally take one extra strength laxative. Now it has been 5 and I just jugged half a bottle of magnesium something and sitting like a duck
  19. See I am on the same boat here - they have discovered a large hernia and it took doctor two hours to operate on me. I am so happy there are so many different outcomes.
  20. lellow - where is the picture? I can't see it. Tattoo is a great idea... Breast augmentation too. I am 42DDD and when I loose all the weight they will probably be down to my waist - I should look into that too. I would love to have nice medium sculpted chest.
  21. see - if you really really want something - it will happen
  22. I was banded Oct the 6th and lost 30lbs since... I'll keep checking in :blushing:
