  3. Well said Ladies!!! I was banded back in March and lost over 50lb The DAY OF surgery on my way, so many things ran through my head. My husband pointed out to me and says "look" subway. I will take the boys there while you’re in surgery. Right then I told myself

    “when is the next time I'll be able to eat a whole sub". I GOT SCARED!!! Told myself “Am I ready for this”! I was so ready to tell my husband to turn the car back. IM NOT READY!! I looked at my kids, myself and said. Someone is giving me this chance. And now I don’t really care if I will ever be able to eat a whole SUB...I feel great!!! Everyday is something new. be it BAD OR GOOD. We are all learning as we go.The Lapband is an AID to help you on your Journey. This website is all true and if dosn't help one person get through the day it will help someone else. Best of Luck


  4. Hey thanks guys, Had my mushies for dinner and it helped.. staying on mushies and liquids..going to try and fight this cold and hope I can eat better and not go for a unfill..lets see wut happens..I giving it a couple of days..wish me luck!

  5. Sandradee!! awesome!! Slow and Steady...so easy to say but so hard to do...I hear you...We could do this!!!

    Trying to stay full for 3-4 hr can be done...they tell us not to drink water with our meal right? "BIG NO NO". I try to hold off from drinking water for at least another 45min or more after my meal and that kept me full for awhile more..Its hard at the beginning but it can be done..to get my mind off of that I just start doing other things and next thing you know an hour or 45min has gone bye filling full ..your fluids is very important so make sure you make up for the lost time..Your on your way!!! Slowly and steady...keep up the good work..


  6. OMG!!! In the same boat with you all!!...Have awesome restriction maybe a little bit too much but I could work with it. In morning protein shake. Lunch! Soup or something soft but even that I end up in the bathroom. Come back and try it again. Taking my time I would say it takes me about 30min to finish lunch. Dinner I try to have my protein chicken, fish...and again for the first part I’m in the bathroom. Come back and try it again. This is the learning part. Taking our time to chew our food. It’s hard!! Good luck to all of you.

HI Ellaal01, on ur next fill take a water bottle with you...so when the doc gives u ur fill..take big drinks of water not a sip a gulp...until u feel it come back up or bubble slowly down. if you feel it go down to easy and fast then you have him fill u more...until u feel the water bubble..Good Luck
