Stress affects us all. First, as you did on your blog, focus on the positive -- your friend and groom's mother will be with you all in spirit. Second, you are doing so many great things for your daughter's beautiful wedding. Enjoy the time.
Finally, you are a constant source of inspiration and support to so many in your life. Give yourself 15 minutes of reflection and down time and it will help.
And like Im said -- figure out a serving, put it on a plate and look at it. Throw the rest of the bag DEEP in the garbage.
Best of luck to you in all this. God's Peace........

Printed it out and put it on the fridge. I love it!

Way to go! You worked hard to get here and you deserve this success! I'm so glad you moved on -- you made a great decision for yourself, your health and your future! Congratulations :-)

I feel full after eating approximately 3/4 - 1C of food (mostly protein, some veggies or a little fruit). My first meal is around 8 am. I eat slowly and chew well and I start to feel "full" at that 3/4C mark. Lunch is around 12 and I have just started to get a little hungry. I eat 3/4 C of mostly protein here. I get a little hungry around 5 and eat 1/2 protein bar (driving). Around 7 I eat about 3/4 C of protein and veggies.
I really take care to get the protein in as I struggle with hair loss. I eat slow and steady and I don't get stuck or anything else very often. I am not hungry otherwise. I never snack or eat between meals anymore as I'm just not hungry for anything which is helping a lot. I used to move into the "high caloric intake" danger zone between October 15th and January 1st (holidays) so I'm excited about this year!

Absolutely great pictures and fantastic post! I've been using your posts as some extra motivation: clothes, running, trips. You are an amazing support; I cannot thank you enough!!!

You are in my prayers! I hope at least you can get some rest and eat something! Let us know when they run your GI! No matter what, we'll all be there for you :-). Hugs :::::::::::

No worries on venting -- I feel you on this one 1000%. I was banded 4.5 months ago and I've re-hidden the scale twice. It is hard not to weigh and even harder not to let the fluctuations affect your mindset.
Hiding is the best thing possible. I recommend it!
Best of luck to you!

I'm glad you had a good time! Like Janet said -- you were enjoying LIFE! You go girl! :-)
-
You totally deserve that, Janet! I am so blessed to have "met" you!

I love seeing these every month! Such a motivation and inspiration! Hope you are feeling well and enjoying the fill?!

How wonderful for you! I'm sure your trips are long ones, and the ability to be comfortable in the seat is fantastic. Thanks too for the comment about fitting in a booth -- another great victory! Enjoy your visit with your family, and safe travels back "home" to South Korea. You are doing fantastic!

Seems like the tube might have scratched your throat a little? A second possibility is you got a little flu in the hospital. I'd call. In the interim sugar free Popsicles if you can have those. Otherwise a lot of ice chips. Do you feel any issues otherwise? Temp? Feel better soon!

Adorable, heartwarming post! Thank you! And although I want to hate you for the "struggling to keep weight on", I wish you only the best! I hope it works out for you! I love the inspiration you've provided - not only to your daughter but to all of us! Take care:::::

That went well for you; I'm glad! I've been trying on clothes this morning too -- good luck getting in to it and at the very least have fun at the wedding! Have a good weekend!

Oh my that isn't good! I'm sorry you are feeling bad. Call your surgeon if it doesn't get better soon! Sorry I should have read your profile. The other thing? Get some walking in and try not to stress. It seems stress makes things worse.

Oh my. I guess the biggest task you have ahead of you is learning what caused your "2 for 1" special and make sure you don't repeat it -- chewing, food?, eating too fast.
Hope everything is ok!

But remember, we communicate on this site because we can share. I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I DO NOT REGRET this surgery at all! I've lost over 70 lbs since Christmas and I am a different person inside and out. I absolutely could not have done it without this fantastic tool and although there are days or minutes where there is some kind of challenge, it is nothing compared to where I was heading: diabetes, stroke, heart attack, apnea............
But Polly is right. You need to be at peace with this decision. Best of luck to you!

Janet, you are such an inspiration and support! I am so so happy for you that you are in such a great place! Have a great week getting ready for this blessed event!

A couple things:
- check with your nutritionist. Even though you are getting 1300 cals a day you might still be "starving" your body based on the heavy duty workouts. My PA told me to get in a whole extra meal when I do more than 45 minutes of cardio a day. It helped IMMENSELY. The plateau "went away" within a couple days.
- are you measuring yourself? maybe the scale and weight isn't the way to go for now -- focus on pants being bigger, easier to go up stairs.....
- kick up the protein and lower the carbs?
- water?
You have come a long way!! Try not to let it get you down! Hundreds of people on this site have lost a TON of weight; the tool works :-).

Congratulations, my friend! I am so happy for you that you got your date and your schedule! Keep up the great attitude. Hugs ::::::::

WTG! Congratulations! Nice attitude about the numbers on the scale versus inches. Sometimes our minds play these negative tricks on us, and trying on something new or something that hasn't fit in a long time is the way to go. Great idea........

Your story brings back memories. I was thinking about college, having a baby, going on Weight Watchers, phen-phen, Jenny Craig....
The journey for all of us on this site may be different by person, but where we are going: healthier and a sense of accomplishment and taking charge -- that we all share!
I loved your "ramblings". Keep it up! Hugs :::::::::

Hi! I'm glad you had a nice vacation, and that things are going well for you in Minneapolis! I love seeing shows; Wicked is fantastic!! You will do great at St. Jude's -- you are helping families create memories and you are a wonderful photographer. Best wishes and take care......

I am so excited and happy for you! You are so well organized and so successful already! Keep in touch the next couple days and remember: rest, water and walking. HUGS::::::::::::::::
The scale isn't the only place I'm finding inspiration!

Next time don't "practically" flirt -- just do it! I love reading your posts -- I totally relate and get inspired at the same time!
