  1. My doctor told me not to drink them either, but recently I had some. It tasted so good, but I know I have to stop. I'm not sure of the reasoning, but they don't hurt me when I drink them.
  2. I have always heard not to take calcium at the same time as your multi-vitamin because the calcium will not absorb correctly or something.
  3. I take two Vitafusion Fiber Gummies right after I take my Flintstones multi-vitamin (at night). Is this okay or should I be waiting in between taking the two? I tried searching online, but cannot find anything.
  4. If I do feel normal tomorrow, should I still call to get it checked out? I'm the type that if I feel better, I won't worry about it, but this may need checked out.
  5. Thank you for the good luck. I'm hoping I feel better in the morning, but it is awfully strange since I did get a .25 unfill on Tuesday.
  6. He did say I may need more taken out, but I can eat so much easier. It is just a strange feeling that I don't ever remember experiencing.
  7. I hadn't really thought about that, but it may be a good idea. I still have a belly, but that is because I don't work it that often, and I think that is why I don't feel right or good.
  8. I haven't reall felt like that, but I am about where I need to be weight wise, and I still "feel" fat. Everyone tells me I am so skinny, and I look like a beanpole, but I look at pictures, etc., and I still don't like what I see.
  9. Well. I think it may have actually started after I drank about 8 oz. of my Protein shake. I did feel a pressure there when I woke up, but it didn't really start until I drank something. I am going to call in the morning. The doctor did say I may need more taken out, but I am able to eat better besides today. Everything is going down fine. I'm not getting stuck or anything. I just have this sharp pain as it passed through. The only thing I did eat that I can think I may not have had before was white chocolate macadamia nut Cookies.
  10. I just tried eating some grits, and it hurts when the food passes through the band. Tea is doing the same thing.
  11. I posted this under the gallbladder thread, but I figure more people could help if I posted it separately. This morning when I woke up, I had this pain right under my ribs/sternum in the center where my stomach and band is I am sure. I hurts just sitting here, and it hurts to deep breath, to drink, to eat, to swallow. I did also get a small cramp just left of my belly button, but it subsided about 10-20 minutes after it began. What in the world is going on? I wasn't this way when I went to bed, and I don't think I ate anything new that I haven't tried before with the band. I am a little worried because of this pain. Could it be just irritated from getting an small unfill Tuesday or could it be my gallbladder. Of course, if I feel like this tomorrow, I will for sure call the doctor.
  12. Thank you for your help. I don't know what is going on, but it hurts when I take a deep breath, and when I swallow anything (Water, etc.). I wasn't like this last night when I went to bed. It just started when I awoke this morning. If it continues, I will call the doctor.
  13. Can someone explain where the pain is and how it feels? I woke up this morning, and it hurts to take deep breaths. My left side as started hurting as well like just to the left of my belly button. I'm scared my band slipped or something else is going on.
  14. I got .25 cc taken out of my band on Monday because it sometimes hurt to eat, and I would have heartburn and reflux some. I thought that would help my heartburn (it hurts right underneath my breasts I guess where the band is or could it be sour stomach?), but I am still having problems with it. I can eat so much better, and I can even eat a little more whereas I wasn't able to before I got the unfill. Does anyone else have heartburn issues or sour stomach issues? It started this morning after I drank some of my Protein shakes, and sometimes those do give me heartburn even before being banded.
  15. I believe it can even though it never happened to me. I was a few fills in before I started getting food stuck.
  16. I agree. You will not be able to eat all of the food at each meal. I eat Lean Cuisine, and things like that, but there is no way I can eat it all. I barely get half of it down. I just feel you would be wasting your money.
  17. I don't really have too many things I cannot eat. Bread is the biggest one that I cannot eat. I LOVE bread (bisquits, rolls, cornbread, etc.), and I may be able to eat a few bites if that was the only item I ate, but I don't want to try it. Pasta, potatoes, chicken, eggs, etc. goes down fine most of the time. I have never had a problem getting potatoes down, but I don't eat them often. Also, I don't know if others experienced this, but I am 13 months out from surgery, and my taste has changed dramatically. Most food just doesn't taste good to me anymore. It's strange.
  18. Gosh. You and me both. I loved eating a 6 in. turkey/cheese/bacon sandwich from Subway, but bread isn't my friend at all. Maybe one day way down the road we will be able to eat a Subway again. Hehe.
  19. I have been stuck like that before, but if it has been 30 min. or more, I do make it come up. It seems you are having trouble getting it to come up so I don't know. Sometimes at night after supper, I cannot drink anything for 1.5 to 2 hours because I have this uncomfortable feeling like if I drank anything I would be in pain. Sorry I couldn't help.
  20. I don't eat Breakfast anymore. Before I was banded, I loved Cereal or Protein Bars, but those don't sit well anymore. I don't remember the last time I ate cereal, but I have given up on breakfast. Some days I won't eat until 12:30 or 1 in the afternoon. My doctor told me that breakfast was the least important meal for banded patients.
  21. For the past two weeks, when I lie down at night, I get heartburn and one night some reflux. I was also having some troubles eating. It would hurt most of the time to eat. I thought it would get better, but I decided to get a small unfill. I am going Tuesday, and I hope I'm not messing up getting a small unfill, but that heartburn sucks. I did take a Nexium the other day, and I haven't had heartburn since then. It also seems like I can eat a little more since I took the Nexium. It's weird, but I think a small unfill will do me good.
  22. I was thinking they wouldn't charge me for it, but I don't know. I had a year of 'free' fills, and the last fill I got was my last 'free' one so we shall see. I hope it isn't much.
  23. I think I am needing a slight unfill. Most of the time, it can be hard to eat. I didn't know if it cost anything to get an unfill? It doesn't matter because I think I may need one, but I was curious. I hope maybe .10 taken out will help tremendously. Also, any advice from those who have had one? This is my first time getting an unfill. Thanks!
  24. I didn't have a choice. My doctor likes the Realize Band so that is what I got. I like it as well, but of course, I have never had any experience with the Lap Band.
  25. Could you please explain this nerve pain? I have never heard of it, but I have been having pain in my right shoulder blade, and it hurts worse when I get stuck. I hope this isn't what I have because it sounds painful. I think mine may just be my back, but I don't think I pulled anything. Just curious.
