  8. i totally recommend Dr. Aceves from Mexicali. his staff is reliable and professional. I was sleeved with him and i had an excellent experience, haven't had any complications and the followup is excellent as well. Check them out, or call Nina, she's the patient coordinator, she'll gladly give you all the necessary information. Goodluck, and please feel free to ask.

I hightly recommend him and his staff, they are very reliable and professional and i didn't have any complications.   16. what motivates me is going shopping and trying on clothes that are 3 sizes smaller than what i used to wear. This is when I say that all the exercise and hard work has come been all worth. Another thing that motivates me is my husband, he's always telling me how nice i look, so that also makes me want to keep on doing exercise. Whichever way, I wish you the best and I hope your personal motivation as well. :ohmy:
  17. hi, it's nice to hear your story and the only advice i can give you is that in order to lose those 100lbs, you need to be really constant and dedicated. I am sure that if you feel motivated by your daughter's wedding, you will definitely lose the weight....just be patient and constant.   19. well, i decided to have the sleeve, because the recovery is much faster, i have lost 80lbs and i am really happy with my sleeve. my doctor was Dr. Aceves in Mexicali and i definitely recommend him and the surgery as well. But it's all up to you of course, wether you decide for the lap or the sleeve, i am sure both will be good.:thumbup:

  22. i had exactly the same problem, until i decided to quit once and for all.....now i weigh myself every 3-4 weeks. it's hard, but as you said it's an obsession, and my weight fluctuates very often. try it i hope it works for you too.:cool:
