  1. hi jsbatra, i had to have liquids for 12 hours after fill, then i could move on to mushies . i think i will give it a week then try normal foods again!! thanks, peter fatboy98
  2. hello everyone had my first fill yesterday ; ive got 5cc in a 14cc band ,i think thats right!! omg the restriction is back [good thing] the nurse told me i had 2cc in the band when it was fitted so i did have a little ! its been 6 weeks since my op and ive lost 14lb , a total of 70lb [56 pre op]. i can fit into jeans i havent worn for 3 years, hooray!! made an omlette today 4 eggs a pinch of cheese and ham and ate a quarter and that was it ! 10 mins later it had returned, so now i know my limits, also the hunger feelings have gone. had a few bad experiences with some foods, steak , crabstix and potato wedges, iam now going to avoid them totally .it feels like a golfball stuck in your throat!! looking forward to more weightloss and enjoying christmas more this year as well as hanging up my stocking i can actually put mine on without fainting!!!!!!!
  3. hi everyone! well ive finally got my band ! iam surprised that iam not hungry , two spoons of soup and im full!!!!!!! normally those two spoons would have been ketchup on my chips [fries] !!!!!!!!!!! half a cup of tea takes me an hour ! it used to be a pint of beer every 15mins! i think i have found diet nirvana!! i know its early days yet but i think this is going to turn my life around . i lost 56 pound pre band and when my little girl, shes 6 asked me to play football the other day id realised what i had been missing no back pain , no heavy breathing because it was no longer a struggle to walk. normally i would have been reading the paper and watched her play , but now i can take part and be the dad she deserves. not embarassed to take her to the park becaused i weighed 400lb . right got that off my chest, iam going for some [thin !!!!] soup.
  4. i have got a band date on the 28/9/10 as my op on the 17/5/10 was abandoned as i was too heavy for the op. needed to lose 31lb , so far ive lost 50lb 1 week left till liquid only diet to shrink the liver that caused all the trouble last time . this time that band is mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least the surgeon will know where to cut as he can use the previous scars!!!!!!!!!!!!! the holidays are coming........
