  1. Dr. Feiz is my surgeon. I love him...he is the best. I also have Anthem BC...and I did not go through Beverly HIlls Physicians, I went through his private office. They are a busy office so if I did not get a call back, I called them. I was approved in about 1 weeks time. My surgery was 3 weeks later. It's the best decision I've made for myself. Good Luck to you
  2. Could you have a pouch dilatation without having any symptoms? I'm so scared that I could stretch out my pouch...I think I may be psyching myself out but you never know. I think for the most part I do good on my portion sizes and I stop eating when I'm full/satisfied. I try not to over do it but sometimes I'm just not sure. I don't have any of the symptoms that come along with a streched out pouch but I haven't lost any significant weight in a few months. I did have an unfill of 2.5ccs in October because I was too tight. I've felt "looser" ever since and I've been trying to get back some of that restriction I had before. I go back to see my doctor in a few weeks...but I just wanted to know if I could be dilated without any symptoms? Thank You, ~*S
  3. The little things for me are definitely clothes...being able to fit into my business suits for work that haven't fit me for at least 2 years. Also, having my husband say to me "You ARE losing weight, I can feel it"....lmao
  4. Before I had surgery, I researched both... Yes, they both do the job...I also have two friends that both had the surgery. One had the Lapband, the other had the Realize band...they both had EXCELLENT results and were great examples of both products. I eventually decided to go with the Realize band and I love it.
  5. I want it too! Thats gonna be #1 on my Christmas List!!!
  6. I'm from SoCal too! Nice to meet you! I used to live in the West Covina/La PUente area, now I'm in Fontana. Realize Banded February 11...down 35 lbs...Unbanded people don't understand how hard it is for us. It is NOT an easy fix and we DO work at our weight loss. It is TRULY the BEST thing I've ever did for myself ~*Sabrina
  7. WOW! Thank you for sharing and being real. I don't think we all realize that there are so many aspects to WLS, the good, the bad, the ugly and all of the in between. I would always go to your page because you are a total inspiration! You still are. Being open and honest just shows that you are a real person. Good Luck Girl
  8. I'm getting my fifth fill on Saturday and I feel like I'm overdue. With my last one, I did as well. I'm eating more than I should be and thats NOT good. My weight loss has come to a standstill...I know once I get the fill it will pick up again. I'm just curious what are your personal symptoms of needing a fill? ~S
  9. Hi Everyone! I had my surgery 2/11/2010...and I'm down 30 lbs. I'm also up and down the scale, within 2-3lbs...then plateau...then lose a pound or two...its a vicious cycle, lol. I am happy I'm not gaining though. I think I need to change up my excercise and I'm due for a fill. Good Luck to all!
  10. I can't eat bananas  or white rice.
  11. I feel the same way! Its so damn frustrating!:smile2:
  12. Fitting into work clothes that I grew out of :tongue_smilie:Yay!
  13. Its been a almost a month and I still can't burp. LOL. My recovery was pretty easy breezy...I thought I was gonna feel awful but I didn't. Surprised my incisions are healing really nicely. Yay! Also, just had my first fill and that was sort of bizarre...I know it was the first one and the rest will be a little bit easier. I guess I was just freaked out, lol. I'm also surprised at the inches I'm losing as opposed to the pounds and just how gradual a process it actually is... ~*S
  14. Oh man, that sounds awful. I just had my first fill this past Friday...I'm trying to eat LB properly...but old habits are hard to give up. I will learn from this ~*S
  15. Just to clarify...I went through his personal Beverly Hills office and not Beverly Hills Physicians. ~*S
  16. I was banded by Dr. Feiz on 2/11/2010. He and his staff are wonderful! I was worried too about all of the bad things you hear about scams and such...the best advice I can give you is to ask your surgeon. The office is a very busy place and we all want that extra special attention, I know I do...so sometimes it may seem that they are unorganized BUT they get it done! I'm glad I went with Dr. Feiz and I'm sure you will be too. ~*S:thumbup:
  17. Congrats! I hope my surgery goes as smooth as yours did...I'm scheduled for Feb.11. Whoo Whoo!
  18. Just remember to love yourself first! Give it a few days... Maybe you can talk to her once everything has cooled down. Good luck Girl :cursing:
  19. Thank You everyone for the kind words. Can't wait to be banded :cursing: ~*S

WHOO WHOO ! ! ! I have gained so much knowledge coming to this website. I truly feel that getting the Lapband is the best decision for me. I want to be healthy, hot and happy! I will be that woman Everyone on here is so caring and helpful. I love reading all of the stories and experiences, bad and good I can't wait to be banded! So I, too, can share.
