  1. I am totally struggling!!! This is no joke I lost about five lbs but gained it back. Grr.
  2. I need a reset too!!! I was sleeved 04/03/2012...not one complication and loved it! It's the best thing I've ever did for myself. I do tell my friends that it's the easiest but also the hardest thing...Easy because the weight just fell off but hard because it's always a mental game. Ahhh but I digress... My lowest recorded weight was 159lbs...although I think my lowest was at 148lbs (after gall bladder surgery). I am now at 182lbs. GRR...I'm so disappointed in myself BUT I know that I can do it. I want this 20lbs off and I will get it off. I've been planning my meals and starting trying to get in my Water (emphasis on trying) and I start bikram yoga this weekend. 160..you're calling my name! Wish Me Luck ! PS. If anyone needs an accountability partner...let me know

Comparison... Pic on the left is a month before my VSG surgery (i had a failed realize band in me - regained all weight lost) and the pic is 5months after VSG surgery. Down about 60lbs
  4. I"m just about six weeks out...I'm experiencing the SAME thing. I'm not pregnant...and just wish it would stop.
  5. I'm three weeks out and I'm experiencing the same thing. Went to the er on Saturday, they did a cat scan and blood work to rule out any problems with my pancreas. The ER doc said, I have a virus in my lymph nodes and that it just has to run it's course. I just don't believe that because of where the pain is located. I have an appoinment with my bariatric doctor tomorrow, so I'll see what he says. Good Luck to you and hope you feel better soon.
  6. I needed this post soooo badly tonight. Thank you
  7. I was a revision from lapband to sleeve on the 3rd. I feel good! I'm down 16lbs. Still a little sore and bruised on my largest incision. I think also because the lapband was removed, I have swelling around the port area. I'm in the same boat, trying to get in my liquids...boy is that hard! Also, trying to keep up with taking my vitamins. Sometimes I miss eating...lol. My family had a get together over the weekend and BBQ'ed hotdogs and hamburgers...smelled SO good...but I was content drinking my protein shake. Cheers to Our Weight Loss April Sleevers!
  8. We are more than half way through April, plenty of us have had our surgerys and the other half are (im)patiently waiting... How are we all doing?
  9. I used kelocote for my Lapband scars 2 years ago but that a bit pricey...I'm gonna pick up some vitamin E and start massaging
  10. I was sleeved 4/3 and came home with a drain. I hate it...it's annoying. If I didn't have it, I think I would feel better. It comes out on 4/12.
  11. I'm home now and resting. Still very sore and sipping my water. I have a drain coming out of my tummy. Just praying I get through the healing phase fast and on my way to my new life. Thank you for all the well wishes everyone here is sooo helpful and supportive.
  12. I'm Dr's last patient, so I'm patiently waiting. Wish me luck
  13. I have to be at the hospital at 8am. I am so excited...but also very nervous. I've been on liquids for two days and all I can think about is cheese...or a subway sandwich...or a taco. LOL. I'm gonna pack my bag, do some cleaning and rest my brain. Wish me luck everyone
  14. I asked my physicians assistant if they would be able to use the scars from my lap band, he said not if it would compromise the vsg surgery. I really love my scars from my lapband surgery...3 small ones and the larger one in my belly button. . but I'll be fine with new ones
  15. I'd like this recipe, too please...sounds SO good!
  16. I used Kelo-Cote for surgical scars, when I had my lapband surgery. It worked really well...I'll use it this time around, too when I get VSG.
  17. I'm scheduled for April 3rd and I'm getting SUPER Nervous and Excited...It's almost here!!!
  18. Good Luck! Keep us posted
  19. I'm done with all of the preop requirements...I'm starting my preop diet and now I just wait until next week. I'M SO NERVOUS. I do have to go to one support group in May, that I'm really looking forward to. Did i mention that I'M NERVOUS? lol.
