  1. I had a fill before a business trip and I will NEVER do it again. I had trouble with the fill and was miserable and in pain the whole time I was gone. It was absolutely horrid. I tried to find someone to help me while I was gone but it was impossible to do so. If I were you I would seriously consider NOT doing it. You never know how you will tolerate the fill and it is NOT good to be on a trip while it something happens! Good luck to you!
  2. I eat between 800-1300 calories per day. I track it with a free site www.myfoodpyramid.gov I eat a variety of foods, but just in moderation. I don't deny myself of anything if I REALLY want it. I work out 1-1.5 hours a day at 4 am. I switch between cardio and weights. I follow all the bandster rules and made this a life changing thing, not a quick fix. Good luck!
  3. Air Force wife here! I would love a group! MY Dh is 100% military disabled. SO I have been there and done that!
  4. YEEE HAW!!! That means I am off the hook now right? lol....that is the way for me to be fat and gross again. No thanks! I also want to point out that just because someone else is able to do something that is BAD and get away with it there is NO guarantee that we can! I will say that I followed the rules about 99% of the time as well. But when I do mess up it is not something intentional or planned. It is a slip up. I didn't go through what I went through to get my band to screw it up. I did this to change my life. If you aren't serious and committed about your band then why get it done? I am too sick of people who are looking for valadation to cheat on the diet. What is the point?
  5. How much have you lost Georgia?
  6. YOU have to do it! He will not only love it, but you WILL TOO! I promise you! If you have the photographer GO FOR IT! If you need pointers let me know! I do my own hair and make up. I do pin curls for the authentic look. And the make up I use is every easy!
  7. I saw those on tv last night. They were saying they don"t work....hmmm..let us know! Ghost--I am sorry for all your troubles hun, please take care, Karey--keep us posted on Bjean!
  8. Vikki I would assume if it is band failure they have to fix it. Good luck!
  9. Congrats! Keep up the good work and go get some new pants, you deserve them!
  10. I think #1 your guilt has got to stop. If you could do this on your own you would, plain and simple. The band is a TOOL not a cure, so there is no need to feel guilty, medicine has progressed and this is just another progression in it we can take advantage of! #2, go see Ravenna Black. She is s dear friend of mine who had the band many years ago. She is in Seattle and a burlesque dancer. She will inspire you to make the committment. I wish I could go see her but I can't so you go see her, get inspired and tell me all about it. www.ravennablack.com #3 you don't give up food with the band! You learn to eat less and make better choices. But I will tell you a secret, I still sometimes have cake for Breakfast....SHOCK I know. How? Once and awhile in moderation! The band helps you learn to deal with food in a respectable healthy way! #4 what does it mean for the rest of your life? Health is the best thing. Confidence, courage, the belief that you can overcome your biggest obstacles, a new life, a new you! IT is ALL GOOD! #5 horror stories, ya they have em. BUT many more peopl die from heart attacks, stroke, high blood pressure and that is where you are headed. Given the alternative and the small chance things can go wrong who cares! Read alll the GOOD stories here and be inspired! Good luck to you!

(That was my lame ass attempt at the mission impossible song! LOL...
  16. I believe as well the post was not to hurt you or be rude. But you also have to think about our frame of mind. There are some people here who do post to get validation that it is ok that they are doign wrong. Others need information. Sometimes it is hard to know the difference. I wish you the best of luck on your band journey but please learn to listen to your heart, your head and your band! :biggrin2:
  17. IT is a YES no matter how much you hate it, trust me! You need to see where you came from someday! Sucks now but you will be happy later!

  21. STEPH!!! WOO HOOO I am so freaking happy for you! Congratulations!!! I am so proud of you!! Waterskiing you rock sister! You are braver than I am I give you that! Nikki!!! Hey mama! I miss you, so good to hear from you! I can't see the pics, so you have to repost them! Good luck with the band issues, that sucks! I haven't meant to abandon this thread! Soo many times I have meant to write here, but I don't. Sorry my ladies. I do miss you all! Life got bad last night. David got a settlement offer on the motorcycle accident and he is not happy. He wants to fight it but now we can't find an attorney to do it. And of course it is my fault. How, I have no idea, but welcome to my life. I got more pin up pics back so I will post them later on that thread. I am working on the site with the guy it is so unreal. I never in a million years would have thought I am where I am now!! Girls are good, enjoying their summer. Faith has been at camp for a week so I am going to get her in a bit. I miss my baby! Brooke goes in a few weeks. I am so completely overwhelmed again with life. Nothing unusual though!
  22. Clearly not going to work because you aren't adventerous enough...lol.... JUST KIDDING!
  23. Ang I had this problem when I flew. At one point I was a size 30 so flying killed me. Somethings that helped me were 1. Wear spanx. As crazy as it sounds being tucked into those made me feel better! I always lost about 2" and that made a difference. 2. Try to get a seat near the exit door. They have more leg room which can help you feel better if your legs are in front of you. I hope those help you some. Good luck!
  24. I was you Michelle. People used to think that I was my husband's MOTHER. No joke. It was everywhere I went, I hated it. But now I am 31 and get carded again. It does get better hun, I promise.
