Pin up Shoto Shoot??
I am a commercial artist, I used to own a sign company. Now I do freelance photography, corporate identity, design work, lots of stuff. I am not doing it anymore because working in corporate took away my passion for it. Most artists will tell you they can't work for someone else and be happy! :frown: SO Now I do photography on the side when I want to. :w00t: I am 6', so I am able to put things away on TOP of my 7.5' cupboards. WELL I think the last time I put my sugar bowl up I didn't push it all the way the back and it flipped off smack down onto the bridge of my nose. A tupperwear dish with 10 pounds of sugar... :frown: HURTS SO BAD! This is what it looks like today, not horrible, but you can see the BIG crack on the bridge, the other breaks are down the sides...ugh..

Pin up Shoto Shoot??
lol...that is my monroe piercing, I have a diamond in it! Thanks Denise. I try at least, lol... I am an artist so for me, I try to design lots of my own stuff. I was unable to sew it together though and had to get help. :wink2: Thanks everyone. Right now I am not so pretty though, lol... I broke my nose this morning in 5 places, across the bridge and down both sides. Pray that it will stay set and heal correctly. I am such a dumbass, trust me...ugh...lol

I agree that you need to see your Dr. I have a slipped band and unless you are in pain, I doubt you slipped it. You could have stretched it a bit, but that is an easy fix! They will take the saline, and your body will rest for a bit. And then you start over. That is the good thing with the band! Good luck and keep us posted! Hugs

Pin up Shoto Shoot??
Hello all I thought I would post a pic from the last shoot. It is a bad shot, otherwise I couldn't show you! The magazine has dibs on first look of what they want. BUT this dress is the dress that I designed myself! What do you all think?

Port sticking out
I just had my port moved last week and was switched to a low profile. It is SUCH a huge difference. I had a tummy tuck and it was moved and sticking out like a baby's foot. The replacement surgery itself was pretty easy, other than they pulled too much and slipped my band. So now I am unfilled for 6 weeks and they are hoping it will fix itself. I am dissapointed it is still visable, but nothing like it was. SO if I don't have to have my band fixed it was worth it. I have 1 small incision and that is it.

So Does This Really Work For Food Addicts(experienced bandits please)
I was a serious food addict. I had stashes all over the house. What my band has enabled me to do is to build a new relationship with food. I still enjoy food but I no longer over enjoy! I am able to make better choices. I am now 2 years out and due to some complications my band is unfilled. I have the first week been able to maintain my weight which is under my goal as well as not indulge in my trigger foods. The band has taught me that I am worth more than any taste of anything. I can now eat a small piece of cake and walk away happy. I no longer feel the need to eat the whole thing. If you commit to the band it can change it all. Good luck!

LMAO - Installing A Husband
Yes but for the record, she was not the first inventor, but she did patent the process. I am a particular fan of the hide and seek method she installed! I am so sorry guys, this is our room, you dare to enter this is what you get!

Are We ready for a Black President?
He is no different from any other politician in this case. I agree 100%. He is offering change, and with that change the entire approach will be different, including HOW he addresses us.

 Thanks to you all! And yes, Karey being unrestricted reminds me of WHY I got banded, which I am using to keep me in line. It is my TOM now, so I am hiding out in the house where there is NO chocolate, lol... Losing--thanks, but yours is MUCH cuter! Fran--how are you doing these days?

Next fill 2 wks away and I'm hungry!
I have to weigh in on this one, since I am now unfilled to a surgeon error in surgery. Head hunger sucks, but it is actually that. Your brain tries to trick you into eating at times when you are really not hungry. And it happens alot, we are surrounded by food, images of food, the smell of food ect. All of those things can make your brain think it needs to eat. It sucks. BUT no matter where we are in our band journey, we can help overcome it. It takes realization that it isn't your fault, but you can control it. I have been week without any Fluid after being 2+ years with a very happy level of restriction. And the first few days killed me. I am still battling head hunger only now I am putting up a better fight. Protein is your best friend, eat lots of it. It stays with your body longer. Water also can help stop head hunger. But in the end, you need to learn what your body is telling you and if you are really really hungry! We can all do this, and it IS worth it! Good luck to you all!

Boo Boo Kitty's PS Journey
Well all I wanted to update all of you on the end of week 1. It as been a living hell for me. This open band thing sucks, but I am getting used to it. I have to say that I have NOT gained any weight! WOO HOO!! I am so happy I could die. I have been in a complete panic, because gaining anything is not acceptable to me. Neurotic and quite maybe anorexic, but I don't care, lol.... BUT I did it. I know that at this point I could eat anything I wanted, cheeseburger, Big Mac, whatever. But I haven't! I have had split seconds where I have thought, "do it now, while you can" But really what is that going to get me? I won't be happy with me if I do it. I won't be really any better off in the end. Cravings will pass if you give them time and drink water. I can get through this. Being open is not as bad as I thought. Not that by any means will I stay this way. I miss my security blanket Linus, as much as I hope he misses me.

I am doing better, but feel like sh*t. No nookie for Dh for 4 days now, he is NOT happy. They moved it and slipped my band. I spent 24 hours in horrible pain before they figured it out. SO now I have no fill. FOR 6 weeks. But hopefully they caught it early enough so I don't have to have it removed. Shoes are better, but I do get back rubs when I am taking care of him. Better for me that way because less stress on my neck, and he has learned he gets it longer!

Sexual Peak
lol....I am one to believe that we always get paid for sex in one way or another! lol... new shoes, new clothes, lol there is always something I need and something he needs, so we take it in trade! :smile2:
