  1. Thank you! I did go party and had the time of my life, so Tap thanks for the great advice!
  2. I personally am getting sick of all the negativity around here lately. I am also sick of personal attacks on each other. It seems to go in waves around here, and I am really sick of it.
  3. Hey Candace! Welcome to LBT! Congratulations on your surgery, and here is to your success! :lovechoc:
  4. I hit a huge platue at about 20 pounds. I am not sure what that means to you as far as conversion. BUT anyhow I kicked up my workout from 1 hour to 1.5 and dropped my calories to 1200 from 1300-1400. It worked for me, but I will say they were the worst ever to try to get off. I think your body gets complacent and you have to do something to get it moving again. Stinks really. BUT you can get past it, good luck!
  5. I am glad I quit. I am so much happier without a soda all the time. :lovechoc:
  6. Ah sh*t. SO sorry to hear that. But once you get the band you can kick it to the curb.
  7. Well I am so sorry I missed this. Thank you for bringing friends to LBT. :scared2: Glad you made an accountability buddy!
  8. Only if you add 2 loaves of bread with it! What post? I must go back and read. I am pouting cuz I am bored and sleepy..... :lovechoc:
  9. Yeah, not from you. WHY NOT? :lovechoc: lol...
  10. Yes I did need a lift, I was a 34ff before surgery and breast fed 2 kids for 3+ years without a break. :lovechoc: Mine are not perky and I am sad. I am a 34d now. But not perky.
  11. Ice cream, pssshhh.. :lovechoc: I need to fix my post and say HOW I did it. The pm's are outta control....lol...
  12. Thank you. I have to say that dress was so close to the body, I felt naked. BUT I pulled it off and then was happy I did it. DH zipped me in it that morning and I freaked and wanted it off. He wouldn't unzip it, so I had no choice. By the end of the day, I owned it! :lovechoc:
  13. JB do NOT do a lift without implants. Trust me, I am so sorry about it and now have to have ANOTHER surgery! DO implants! :lovechoc:
  14. What is in a label? What is a label? There are many kinds of labels. What we give ourselves often becomes our self fulfilling prophecies. Hurt, alone, scared, angry, single, married, we are what we define ourselves to be. And then there are the labels that are not self subscribed, and often those are the ones we hold so close to our heart, even if it hurts. A bitch, fat, lazy, stupid, 'oh she's --single still'. They are often hurtful and mean, but yet we still let them become a definition of who we are. And then even yet we have the littlest labels, the ones we wear everyday that can seem so simple--but mean so much. This morning I put on an extra small, a label that never in my life I thought I would wear--ever in a million years. That label meant more to me than anything has ever meant to me. Just 2 short years ago that label said 4x. Often that label didn't even stay on my clothes, it would be ripped off faster than you could say "fattie". That 4x label even though never seen by anyone else spoke volumes. I was judged, labeled by the first glance most made at me. I was dubbed "lazy" or that I didn't care about myself. So I let those labels become who I was, I accepted a label not meant for me. I was not lazy, nor fat. In my mind I knew I wasn't that girl. But I accepted the label and the role that went with it. Today when I wore my xsmall, I accepted the fact that the fat girl was gone. She will always have a label on my heart, but never in my mind. I have cleared away the fat girl mentality and begun a new. My new label? Anything I want, ever I want it to be, and nothing unacceptable! So for now, label me, label free!

  16. I have a 4 cc band, it really depends on you and your Dr what size you get. It is all about what will work best for you!
  17. I was banded over 2 years ago and my arms (well everything was HUGE) I am now at goal and have been here for a bit. I have had a tummy tuck for the extra skin there, but nothing on my arms. I do workout a lot, and it made a difference. I will post a before and after for you to see. I actually this week had someone ask me if I had surgery on them. Made me feel VERY good! BEFORE (ugh, yack, gag..) NOW

  19. We need more of it. I am so sick of the complainers. Does that make me a bitch? I am so over it...
  20. lol...no it isn't right! IT SHOULD SAY 2006 I had a tummy tuck for the skin in May.
  21. I am sorry as well. I hope you can get some help and turn it around for you! Good luck!
  22. For me it took until my 3rd or 4th before I really had that. Now I miss it so much! It does come Dionna, just takes time! :tongue2:
  23. Thank you Brad. I try to be 100% complete honest about everything here so that people can know me and connect. I feel like even though I have never met face to face most of my friends here, they know me better than anyone in my life. A lot of us are the same people with a different name. :tongue2: Thank you for caring!
  24. Hey all I wanted to share this picture I took yesterday with all of you. This is me now without any binders, spanx any of that. As you can see with clothes the PS looks quite nice. :tongue2:
