I'm here. Thanks for your thoughts. School is wrapping up. I'm heading into the last week of my last class, forever!!!! Then to Vegas, then to plastic surgery. It's a busy time to be me. But I'm exceptionally happy. Glad to see you Momma! Hi Tammy too.

Female Invasion of the Mens Room
yeah, you have gay sex because you're programed to. It's kind of hard wired. If it's against your religion and you do it, it's torture. (says the lesbian). Might I suggest to Lap Dancer that you go, by yourself to therapy? A professional can give you insights and also other means to deal with this. Also, perhaps if your husband sees you doing the work to save your marriage or your joy he'll jump in. good luck.

OH Juli's Plastic Surgery
I'll be happy to have my belly G O N E forever. He said I'll be tiny. I'm going to go to sleep with those words in my head.

Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
I just learned that I can ride sooner than I thought. Pretty much as soon as I feel up to it. The surgeon is betting it won't be for a good 3 to 4 weeks, but still, that's better than 6! And yeah, TOSRV hungover would be funny. Well funny because I'll be driving SAG and I'd be the one to scoop you up.

OH Juli's Plastic Surgery
I saw the surgeon today to prepay (ouch) and to go over the details. The doctor dude is more excited than I am for the difference that he's going to create in my body. Well, probably be not more than me, but he was really very positive about the whole thing. Might I add, he said, "You'll be tiny." Tiny? Me? He put me at ease about the length of the surgery and all the things that were on my mind. I'm getting more and more prepared. And lastly I've got my script for liquid percocet so it will be at home when I get here. Oh, and he's sending me home with a pain pump too. hehehehe And the best news was that he said I can get back to exercising full on after two weeks, all but my abs. Those need to wait a month, but otherwise, if I feel like it, I'll be allowed to ride my bike and other activities. So YIPPIE!!!!

Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
You know it sounds beautiful. It's okay to be all matchy matchy too. Matching helmet, jerseys, socks, water bottles. Really, it may be dorky in the regular world, but cycling, when your gear matches, it's cool.

Zoe says "Korrine's mom is skinny." Thought you'd like to see that. She was looking at your avatar. She calls me chubby. FYI. I think I'm jealous.

Wait until Babygirl sees that. She drools over Madones. You know, if you're short and it's too much bike you can always call me next year. I'll help take it off your hands.

Massive dairy food cravings
I've never heard the no cow's milk thing. That's a new one to me.

Just need to vent at how slow this process is.
1. -28 is reasonable. 2. Tell people to keep their eyes and their opinions to themselves. Or hell, play with them when you see them looking at you and say, "Yeah, you think I'm sexy now, I'm only going to get more hot." 3. People who lose quickly look less healthy in the long run. You don't need to defend your choices to anyone. I mean really what could you say anyway? Not like you're going to go back and get the GB, right? This is your choice and it's their screwed up expectations. What it seems like to me is that they are undereducated about the process.

You are kidding, right? 27 miles is very boast-able. There should be no feelings of being inadequate. Rock oh there Ms Mac!

krtork, What kind of bike is it??? You'll grow into your bike, you'll see. Probably more quickly than you expect too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. BTW, I got out for 22 miles today. It was a little chilly, but sunny. I've ridden in colder, for sure.

OH Juli's Plastic Surgery
I am excited about all of it. Jeni, who has a thread on here too, had her band done the same month as me. She's home recovering from her surgery. I want so badly to know what I'm going to look like, what I'm going to wear. I'm freaking a little about all the change and the very real reality that I'm going to have to buy new bras and panties and everything ELSE. I'm going on a trip to Vegas the week before and I'm sad and happy about not being able to buy new clothes for it. I refuse to spend money on something that isn't going to fit a few weeks later. But I'm happy that I'm going to change that drastically!!! The solution? Shoes! I bought two new pair of shoes.

N E 1 been Banded at Mt. Carmel col, oh
Sillypuddy I sent you and PM. But I'll put it out here too. Your SO is just worried for you because she loves you and is scared. Fear is a big deal. I had a conversation with Nurse Niki and her husband before her surgery. He was scared to death about it. But he's on board now. And look her up. She's back in school too. It's so much easier to wrestle all there is out of life when you are working toward your health goals. Happiness and confidence comes so much more easily. Look me up if you want to chat one on one. I'm a gay too, btw, it the rainbowie ticker didn't clue you in.

Tammy!!!!!!!!! Hi! You are looking beautiful in your avatar! You've been so missed! I don't know if I'm going to post pics, but I'll certainly be talking about it too much. I'm thinking of Jeni. Hope she's doing well. I'm sure she is!

Marchies 2yr Bandiversary Month!!!
Let me suggest you don't go to the gym the morning of your surgery. You will need your body's energy to heel from surgery. The night before, by all means, but exercising the morning of sugery is a bit over the top. Or that's my opinion. feel free to ignore me. My feelings won't be hurt.

Falling can be painful. For your ego, and well your shoulder and hip too. Oh, aero bars. I tried to put them on my bike last year, and they don't fit. I have sissy breaks and a woman specific designed bike, so my bars are narrow...I heart my sissy breaks, so no aeros for me.

Lellow and the Torso Lift
I just got a mammogram done today for a before base line and to make sure the girls are healthy. I so completely understand about the painful paying part. I do mine next week Tuesday. I go shopping this weekend for wedge pillows and toilet risers. You are going to be so happy you did this!!!!!!!!

Changing gears and looking for advice - lots of questions
I say schedule a fill and if you don't need it cancel two days before hand. At least you have it on the books. Also, with losing 100 pounds your inner organs get smaller too so the restriction is less tight on your stomach. You may be looser. Your daughter needs to keep her well intentioned thoughts to herself. As a friend of mine often said, "What I eat you don't poo, so don't worry about what's on my plate." Lastly, you realize that your loose skin has weight to it. So you may not see that goal number without surgery to remove it. Don't give up your dream of that number but be realistic that the skin has mass therefore weight and it will contribute to what you see on the scale, regardless of how little fat you actually have on your body. You're doing so well! Congratulations.
