Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
ZZ, The Diva Cup doesn't seem too freaky to me, but I'd have to be given one to try. I'd not buy one. I love the if you're over thirty paragraph...like really, "your hoo is giant, even if you didn't birth a baby, it's old, we're telling you now, old, giant twat needs the bigger cup, don't balme us if you bleed down you leg..." Now there that's way too much information. Sorry guys. On to the weather, it's chilly today but it looks like the sun is trying to break through. We are spending a few hours at the zoo. But I am taking my bike to the shop to get my aerobars. Yeehaw.

Central Ohio Get Together - April 12, 2008
I think I'm going to go to Tuttle to support the WLS sisters and give them my encouragement! Also, I want to support K and her choice to go there. Plus it might be fun. Also, there's plenty of time for the out of towners to get the message and change of directions. They are grown up people who should check and see, like Courtney is doing. Smart move Courtney. So there's my reasoning for going to Tuttle. I'm a stickler for consistency so this is really a stretch for me, but there are times to bend and times not to bend. The potential benefits out weigh the risk, I'm bending. XO, Juli

Low carb, hi protein
Simple carbs like the 4 P's mentioned above hit your system and burn quickly, just like sugar. There's not much to them so they don't keep you feeling full, so you get hungry again quickly. A complex carb has Fiber so your body spends more time breaking it down, it releases more slowly into your system so you stay fuller longer. Protein releases yet more slowly and keeps you feeling full longer but a diet with no fiber will make you constipated. So it's important to have some fiber and that means you'll get some carbs. You can choose very low carb vegetables, like Atkins, but that's really not much fun and they allow for some seriously high fat. It all goes to pot when you stop doing it. Learning to eat a well rounded diet with lean protein and good complex carbs and some non trans fats is the best way to feed your body healthily for a life time. But it's not easy to do when high fat, simple carbs taste so good...hehehe and they are cheap, well advertised, and on every corner. But that's a different rant.

Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
Service shmervice Zoe is concerned that she'll be bad and make the other kids mad at her. The thing is she's always the fastest runner and she's pretty powerful physically so she should be just fine. I think she'll shine once she tries. Right now we talk about how everyone is new and just learning so not being perfect is okay. I swear she's going to be OCD. She's also getting signed up for extra curricular art class per her request. She likes art. We tried dance when she was nearly 5 and she was way too hyper for it. Think bull in the china shop kind of deal.

What a steaming pile of crap. You'll find your girl a solution, I'm sure. Like you said there might be options, but bastards it shouldn't be that hard. I can imagine Jared wacking a ball with all his little muscular might. We start soccer for the first time in two weeks. Zoe is uninspired at the prospect. Go figure.

Central Ohio Get Together - April 12, 2008
To make an informed decision I'd want to know what the fashion show really is? Like whose clothing are we seeing? Who are the models? I want to cheer on my WLS peers, but if it is poorly organized and boring I'd be mad that we switched up. I'd also fear that the out of towners couldn't find the mall or didn't get the message and went to Polaris only not to find us. I'll support the group decison. Juli

Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
Oh come on Spring and beautiful weekend weather! I'm thinking I need to get a babysitter for Sunday so I can get in a few miles. Saturday I'll take DD out for a ride on her bike but I'll run/walk with her. There's a great ride here on Saturday that I just can't make it to because of other plans. IT's cycling season, it's cycling season. I'm so stoked.

BG!!! Awesome! I got out today too! I only fell one time. Yeah, I was trying not to unclip at a light, like I know we'll start moving before I fall over...not so. For those who are counting that is fall number 3. The last one was on Sunday in the parking lot after a 25 mile ride. WTF? I was looking at people while slowing down. guess I was stopped before I knew it I was on the ground. Today's fall is by far the least painful. UGH.

Under 30 Spoiled Brats!!
Ang, I know you're trying to make a point...I get it. I graduated from HS in 1986, I'm going to be 40 in two weeks. But I want to take what you are saying seriously, but also let you know we've been sliding to where we are for well over twenty years. I was terrified walking by myself after at dusk or after dark because already in the 80's girls were programed with that necessary fear. The pervs were out there and as a little girl I was told not to talk to strangers/and run away from cars that stopped to ask me for directions. I think we just talk about them more now than ever. Drugs were bad-ish. Mostly pills, Drinking was extreme and if you were a good girl all you did was screw your boyfriend silly. Herpes was rampent and HIV/AIDs hit my radar as a senior in HS. True Dat about college, but we were told that a high school diploma wasn't going to get us far. It just took a few years for what the old people had to say to really manifest. School violence is frightening today in ways unimaginable. That point you win hands down. I have a 6 year old daughter and if I let myself I can get worried sick about what she will face. I try to see that most people are good and technology is just help, but yeah, the monsters in the closets are much more real and do far greater damage than what I knew as a child. But every generation thinks their music was the best, they struggled the hardest and most importantly they believe that they invented sex. LOL. Hope I didn't offend, I just wanted to chat it up a little.

I wish I could could cut and paste a body like that! Oh, wait I will with plastic surgery... Okay, I'll be cutting away the skin so you can see the buff muscles I've been working on! You know, I swing that way and I actually find her a little intimidating, frankly. I mean she looks like a game of slap and tickle with her would really, really hurt.

Welcome to Ohio and the pervs who will screw a table...sick, sick, sick. ZZ, you've got those killers eyes, and cheekbones! Blah, blah, blah insert cute fat girl comments you've heard a million times here, but you're quickly becoming hottie girl with out mention of fat...You'll be kissing the boys and makin' em cry just as soon as you please. Being the lemming that I am, I've put my pics on here too. BG, I put the one of us at the pool on there, hope you don't mind, if so, holler and I'll take it off. XO.
