April Foolin' for Marchies of 2007
Husker, Where is DH going in 6 years? Sorry you're feeling poorly. That just stinks. Sorry your son isn't feeling well either. MY DD is only 6 and I shutter at the thought of not knowing where she is and what she is doing.... It will happen sooner than I expect, I know. Get some rest.

New WSJ article on Lap-Bands! Fantastic!
Good article thanks for sharing. Mandilou, perhaps it is a little preaching to the choir because we know how fabulous the band is already! LOL.

Fallen from grace...
You should be fine. Humble pie doesn't taste so good, huh? We are all individuals with our own struggles. Do as your doctor ordered. You'll be alright.

Under 30 Spoiled Brats!!
Come on in 1980 the eight track was on the way out. My childhood memories in the car: Having beer cans rolling around underfoot in the back seat floor boards. Parents both smoking with the windows rolled up and me turning green. Four kids tumbling over each other with out a though of a seat belt. Those were good times.

There is no worrying about weight gaining while you are in bandster hell. So stay off the scales. This time is for focusing on recovering and learning. Hope everyone is feeling fine!

Spring Into Action Weight Loss Challenge
I'm bored with my workout routine. I know I need to shake it up. I'm thinking about joining a gym instead of using the one at work. That way I can do spinning and kickboxing classes. I have access to fantastic cardio/machines/free weights at work, but no classes. I've been doing the work gym regularly since October of 06. Anyway, that's where my thougths are at the moment.

On the big scheme of things C, what you are doing is much more exciting than a huge bike ride and hanging at the mall. :puke::biggrin:YOU ARE GETTING YOUR BAND!!! :biggrin2: Like I need to tell you! However, it's going to be fun mixing BG with H. I think BG is young enough to say all those things I think but just won't. I'll take notes and share them with you! And girl, I'm not driving through Findlay until Memorial Day weekend. I'm guessing I'll see you at Polaris in May. So no visits. Sorry.

Hi Jazz, Cycling is great exercise. It's a fantastic way to start, go slowly and not for very long, but builds upon your experience quickly. It's a great calorie burner! Nice to have you here.

BG is coming down to Columbus to ride with me and WOW, we have a 60 miler planned. OMFG, I so won't be ready for that, and then she's going to sit in on Heather's group at Polaris. I'm going to miss you being there, Chica.

Rock on chica. I have no doubt the fellers are all over you. But I can catch up on sleep while you watch those sports. On the other hand, I can cook like a mo fo, so if I was trying to land me a feller, that might make up for my complete lack of sport interest.

Marchies Bandiversary Month
Thick Chick, I'm glad you are well. Thanks for letting us know. You might want to not eat after 6pm if you're having reflux at night. It's rough, not eating after six, at least it is for me, but it keeps me from haivng issues in my sleep. XO

Central Ohio Get Together - April 12, 2008
K, I would take cottage cheese and pizza sauce and whip them together in my Magic Bullet, and microwave it. Also, I mushed up soft meatloaf with chicken broth to where it was an oatmeal texture. That saved my life! Again, I microwaved it. I liked my food warm when doing mushies, I think because the look of it was gross. HTH.

Advice you can take or leave, but please listen..
Oh, I just pulled that out of my head from the collective sanctimonious posts I've encountered here. Yikes if that actually made you think of an individual! BTW, I heart the word "sanctimonious". Just saying...

Possessive Pronouns Certain pronouns called possessive pronouns show ownership. Some are used alone; some describe a noun. Used alone: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs, whose Correct: That computer is hers. Modify noun: my, your, his, her, its, our, their, whose Correct: That is her computer. Found on: Possessive Pronouns I love Grammar Slammer for these kinds of things.
