  1. I think I may get a tattoo. I definitely want a breast lift and a tummy tuck but I still have a long way to go in the weight loss department.
  2. WElcome! Congrats on getting banded. 32 lbs is awesome! I definitely agree that this is the best move I have ever made.
  3. Wow lucky you. Usually it's the opposite.
  4. Hi Zoie! Congrats on getting banded. Hope you have a good journey!
  5. Lets see: A candy bar every day lots of pop cupcakes pizza good luck. have fun. your last harrah before it's diet time!
  6. Uh yea. you shouldn't be throwing up 3 times a day. That's not good for you. Your band is probably too tight. Please make an appointment with your doctor and let him know what's going on. Good luck.
  7. It's going to take some time to adjust that's why they start out slow. Let your body adjust to your 3cc's and in the meantime really watch what you eat and make sure you work out good. You will still drop off some weight before summer.
  8. That is so awesome! I'm so happy for you. Lets see here are mine: I lost more than a foot in inches I have so much more energy I exercise I'm getting more and more protruding bones I'm starting to get a nice shape
  9. Liking meat is a good thing with the band. Bandster rules are protein first, then veggies/fruits then complex carbs. It will just let you eat less. You will get fuller much faster. I was 313 lbs at the start of my journey now I'm down to 263 and it's only been 3 1/2 months.
  10. I think you'll be just fine! I went onto mushy foods within 10 days instead of 14 and I'm doing just fine.
  11. Try soft vegetables and chicken. If that doesn't work then I would wait another week or so before trying them again. Good luck!
  12. I think sometimes if people have alot of weight to lose they get the GB because they lose it faster than if they get the LB even though after about 3 years everything evens out. Maybe LB wasn't an option for them. Maybe their insurance only covered GB and not LB. There are alot of complications with GB. Even with out the LB GB would never be an option for me.
  13. Good for you! That is so awesome. You will be back on track in no time. Keep us up to date on how things are going. I think going to OEA is a great step! Congrats!
  14. 15 lbs away - you can do it!!! I'm 13 lbs away. I know I'll be pushing it! I want to reach my goal so bad I can taste it! lol.
  15. I'm sure going to the gym will help make a difference. Good luck!!
  16. Everybody's bodies are different. When I made the change from all liquid diet to mushies and back to regular solid foods I didn't lose any weight at all. I didn't gain any either but my body held solid for a good 3 weeks before I lost 2 lbs. I say give your body 2 more weeks but make sure you are eating healthy foods. If you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing, eating the foods you are supposed to and even doing light exercise your body will give in and you will begin to lose.
  17. Congrats! You will get through it. Get creamy Soups as they will help fill you up better. Just do lots of walking. That will help get the gas out.
  18. For me the decision was simple. I did not want anyone slicing and dicing my insides and rerouting them where they are not meant to be rerouted. That was my deciding factor. Plus there are alot less complications involved with the LB. Good luck with your decision!
  19. I would get your fill. Obviously the PB incident was an accident. You knew the bite you swallowed was too big, things like that are going to happen. Under normal circumstances it wouldn't of happened. So I say go for it!
  20. For those of you involved in the 4th of July challenge how are you progressing along? My goal is 250 and I am 13 lbs away.
  21. Try keeping a fruit salad on hand. I find that's helping me with my sugar cravings. That way when you want to snack you are snacking on something healthy. Also weight watchers has ice cream and ice cream bars that are pretty awesome and not bad for you either. Also, air popped pop corn is good for you. I guess what i'm saying is try to make your evening Snacks a little more healthier and then eventually try cutting them out. Don't go cold turkey!
  22. That is so awesome! Congrats for you! How exciting. I haven't shopped in the misses department in years and I wouldn't even know where to begin.
  23. I had a really hard time getting Protein shakes down after my surgery. Maybe try carnation instant Breakfast see if that helps.
