completly discouraged
You actually answered your own question with your post. "I can eat antyling/amount without any problem". With good restriction you can only eat 1/4 cup of food. You need a fill! Good luck.:clap2:

HELP! Should I Wait This Out
My doctor charges $200 both for a fill and an unfill.

How many calories???
A bandsters diet should be 800-1000 calories.

Question about fills
dab, be careful my dear. What you are describing is optimal fill level. I can only eat 1/3 to 1/4 cup of food at a time. You are describing me to the tee. I don't think you need another fill, especially if you are losing 1-2 lbs per week. This may be your sweet spot so be very careful. Julie

Banded And Fustrated!!
Try and stay to 1 cup of food 3 times a day until your fill. Go back for fills until you can only eat 1/4 cup of food. Good luck.

Pre-Op diet question?
Mine was liquids 2 weeks, mushies 2 then solids.

Painful eating after fill
I would give it a couple days to see if it subsides. If you can't eat solids then move to mushies to see how you do. The danger is when you can't keep down liquids. good luck.

Still Investigating
It depends on your BMI. I would call them to find out. Mine was 40% at the time of surgery. 282 at 5'8"

Hello! New here!..... Why do I feel this way?
YOu will be fine, breath. I went through a ton of emotion during my surgery. Especially right before the surgery. I had a major meltdown. How did I get here. We all have our journey. I am just so happy to be banded now.
-
Full on mushies?
NO, you should feel full on mushies. Start with tuna salad or chicken salad or potatoes. You will be okay.
-
Banded for 6 weeks
No, you can get a fill now. Its about a 6 week wait. Just look for a fill doctor in your area that takes Mexico patients. Where do you live?

Thinking about having Lap Band surgery
That is not true. My doctor now does 90% lapband as apposed to 30% 15 months ago. Do your homework. I would never have gastric bypass.

need advice
Yes, I agree. Try and find a surgeon that can help you post band. It takes numerous fills to get good restriction. Good luck.

investagateing
I've been banded for 15 months and I'm an average loser at 1 lb per week, total 62 lbs. I eat everything I want, just less of it. I drink coffee without a problem, even popcorn. The next 40 lbs are more difficult so I went in for an agressive fill today. Good luck with your decision.

Surgery Date is 10/9/2007
Lori, you are doing great. Just keep focused as to why you are doing this for yourself. The liquid phase will pass. I've been banded 15 months and love it. Good luck.

How'd THIS happen...my fickle band?
Mine does the same thing. Last week I had 1/2 of a Togos sandwich then the next day I could only get down 4 bites of soft fish. Go figure!
