  1. My sister works for a healthclub here in town and is going to offer the Bodybug to the lapbanders on here at a discount. Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested.
  2. I would call the doctor and ask for an anti nausea medication. It helped me tremendously.
  3. Your band isn't working until you start getting fills. You have no restriction and its completely normal to have hunger when you don't have restriction. Good luck.
  4. Sounds like you are eating the perfect amount of food, 1 cup. If you aren't losing you need a fill. Good luck.
  5. Yes, if you lose a lot in one week it is quite common for it to slow down. If you don't lose in the next 2 weeks you may consider a fill. Good luck.
  6. I agree with Cindylou. You must live while being banded. Just start over today eating your protein first, then your vegies. It may be time for a fill if you feel a lot of hunger or you are eating more than 1 cup. With good restriction you can eat as little as 1/4 cup if you get your protein in. I always start my day with a protein shake which has 30 grams of protein. Good luck and keep up the good work.
  7. Do you need a fill? How much are you consuming? Do you get enough exercise?
  8. Looks good. I like you highlighted a lot more. Good pick.
  9. Thanks for the advice. The one I am getting on the 9th has a 10" to 30" guarantee or its free. They have you walk for an hour I believe while you are wrapped. I'm am looking forward to it. Did you go down a size?
  10. Has anyone had a body wrap? If so, what success have you had? How long did the inches stay off?
  11. I would call your surgeon and go in for another fill. You may have lost your fill completely or just need an adjustment.
  12. Congrats on getting the band. You will love it. Good luck.
  13. NSV stands for non scale victory. Going down a size for example would be a NSV. Good job on the deduction.
  14. Nice NSV. Keep up the good work.
  15. Oh yes, I remember that well.
  16. Congrats. I hope your weight loss goes well and you get prego.
  17. It is normal to lose 1 lb a week. You may go to tight if you get another fill, but that also my speed things up. Good luck.
  18. I'm 25 lbs from goal so I would say I am going to be excited about wearing a size 14. I haven't been a 14 since high school. Also like when the plane seat is too big now.
  19. Wow, you guys look great. Keep up the good work.
  20. If you can eat more than 1/4 cup of food you need a fill. I always start my day with a protein shake so I can get enough protein in. Also, try to have your calories stay between 800-1200, 1000 is even better. Good luck.
  21. That is great. I remember when I went from a 24 to an 18. I was thrilled. Keep up the good work.
  22. Lori, good for you girl! Keep up the good work.
  23. I think it would look great on you.
  24. Yes, a band can be okay from a slip with an unfill. That is the first thing they do when there is a slip.
