  1. I just had my 3rd fill yesterday (6 cc's in 10 cc band) and I don't feel any restriction!! Before I went in, I could feel a small amt of restriction but now I feel none!! I watched the PA draw the Fluid out and then push it back in...where did it all go? Could the needle have slipped and all the fluid gone into my body instead? I try not to drink while I eat other than an occasional sip because I know I will PB if I do. Today I took a drink not really thinking about it and nothing happened. Feels like I don't even have a band. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I'm totally freaked out! Banding date 8/9/07 Dr. Richard Benavides, Richardson TX 23 total lbs lost
  2. Hi there, I was banded on August 9th...doing great...just waiting for my much needed first fill on the 11th. I have a quick question...I have a friend who is going for a consult for the lapband. She told me she is hoping to qualify (with insurance) for the lapband by having acid reflux. Is this possible? I don't know about anyone else, but for me, my doctor said acid reflux could happen as a result of having the lapband. She has a low BMI too (doesn't even look overweight)...she's probably only 25 or so pounds overweight. Chloe :cry
