  1. OMG! You guys are so funny! ROFLMAO
  2. Good idea, but PLEASE don't share.
  3. Leslie2Lose-she may have been trying to give you all a show. Good morning everyone!
  4. I can't wear any of my rings properly, and my shoes are loose. I don't think I can actually go down in shoes size (yet), but they are no longer tight. It is funny to me because I always thought my feet were slim, now they are narrow with a fat body on top.
  5. I have to admit that I don't respond to any of those posts about eating. They never really want someone to tell them about the damage they may have done. They just want the rah rah section to sound off on it. I usually will go read them only if you all post a link to it here. Otherwise, I skip the one that even SOUND like the have done something as scary as eating 2 days out. I hate snow and cold weather. I am a fair weather person. I have gotten worse now since I seem to be colder than ever.
  6. I like the first answer better. It "fits" you more. ha ha I can see the Jedi master coming out of you. SNT-I am glad you are calling the doctor. You do sound just a little too tight. Of course, having never actually experienced this(restriction), I am simply going on how uncomfortable that sounds.
  7. plain-where do you get the ideas for the avatars?
  8. It's funny that you mention that. If it were just me and DS in the house, I could get away with buying nothing but band friendly foods. He only eats junk when he is with DH. DH refuses to eat even remotely healthy. I have to buy chips and cake. Thankfully, I wasn't a big chip eater before, but cookies and ice cream are evil! I try to "forget" to buy them.
  9. I don't mind you asking at all. My counselor does specialize in eating disorders. I looked in the yellow pages and found several that specialized in eating disorders.
  10. I am not sure if my paranoia is healthy or not. I get up everyday and see that I am not skinny. I keep hoping that I am going to wake up and drop 10 pounds (I know, but I can dream).
  11. That's my fear. I don't want to be this size or bigger in 2 years. I am working hard to change my habits. I have been working with a counselor. It is hard stuff.
  12. That's exactly what I'm talking about. You get them to basically remake your digestive tract only to keep doing the same things. I know that it is easy to slip. I am not throwing stones, but that is very disheartening to see. I am praying that isn't me in a few years. I know that I have that possibility, but I REALLY hope that isn't me.
  13. LJM-I'm glad the bed rest is working. I would love to shave my head. I don't have the b*lls to do it. My DH would shoot me on sight if I did. I had a hard time eating a footlong sub before banding, I can't imagine doing it now. There is a new show called Diet Tribe or something like that. One of the women on the "diet" is a previous bypass patient who now weighs almost 300. I can't imagine going through that surgery to gain that much weight. I'm just saying...
  14. If you are going with the low carb slim fast or the optima, regular slim fast has too much sugar. Good luck in your event!
  15. I had 6 signed weight loss visit forms turned in for my visits. I only had 6 visits, BUT nothing in my paperwork actually specifically asked about whether I had been 7 times. My paperwork just showed 6 dates in 6 months. I have heard of others requiring that it be exactly 1 month between each visit, but it wasn't required for my paperwork. Or maybe it was just left up in the air for them to figure out whether I had been for six months? It wasn't lied about, but I guess it could have been left up to interpretation.
  16. I was thinking blood pressure too. I know that after I PB, my blood pressure seems to rise from the strain (I was eating potato too),and I can feel it. You are doing the right thing contacting your doctor about it.
  17. I have the BCBS of IL PPO and it took me about a week to get my approval. They accepted 6 consecutive visits with my PCP that had been done within the previous 24 months. I made sure that the paperwork from the doctor specified my weight/bmi and that we discussed my weight/exercise routine at each of those visits. I hope this helps! Good luck!
  18. True, but there are elements of that game yesterday that were downright shameful.:tongue2:
  19. The gas-x didn't really help me with the gas after surgery. Walking is the only thing that helped me. I have also heard of using a heating pad on your upper back. I hope you feel better soon.
  20. Needless to say, my husband agrees with you on that one. I asked him if we still had to watch the Superbowl since the Titans weren't going to be in it. It was too funny. Not only are we watching it, he still plans to have his "party" just not for his boys.
  21. Yay! And the fact that it came from your DH makes it even better. I don't always see things myself, so it is always nice when a SO says something like that. Way to go! BBK-I hope you are feeling better today. LJM-I am glad that you got some sleep. SNT-you have gorgeous hair, but you should have gone shorter. I'm just saying... PJTP-My DH is so disappointed that his Titans lost yesterday. He is walking around the house pouting. I don't know how much more I can take of him talking about "his boys" as though he actually has some money invested in this team.
  22. After about 12 loads of laundry washed, dried, and folded, my house is almost back to normal. Having a washing machine available is one of those comforts that I have taken for granted until I couldn't use it like I normally would. It did not take long to build up a lot of piled up laundry. I hope to never go through this again.
  23. Ok, why can't we turn off the internal clock on the weekends? I have been up since before 5. That would be great on the days I work, but I should be able to sleep in on the weekend.***stomping foot like a petulant child***
