  1. Thank you for sharing wishing you a speedy recovery. I had both hiatal hernia repair and RNY bypass. 1st 7 days I was kinda of ok after day 9 I started having really bad cramps loose stools, pain all over, feeling lethargic, nothing seems to help I might just go into the ER tomorrow Oxy and Diazepam not doing much. ???? so frustrating
  2. Has anyone experienced bad diarrhea postop with cramping bloated and even some red bright blood in the mucosa of colon???? I am starting to get a bit worried that I might have a leak no sure. I know diarrhea is not a common side effect or a symptom for it.
  3. Did you also do RNY or VSG???
  4. I have finally started stage 3 omg ? how delicious ? 2 ounces of sous vide chicken thighs with 1 once garlic sautéed mash potatoes it nearly took an hour but how delicious ?. anyone else is just started there 3 stage of soft food???

  7. Their is a brand call epic has high protein snack and quest.
  8. Is it like head hungry or actual hunger???
  9. @rattlesmomm hahaha I know that feeling of not wanting more shakes. I tried to mix it up a bit. I do all of my brights they are high protein, I do seafood broth, top sirloin for stews I add lentils, carrots, sweet potatoes, red cabbage, olives and brine broth. You can get about 10-15 grams of protein in a 8 ounce cup of broth and is very yummy. I believe you are entering your 3 phase soft and or purée foods. Ricotta Cheese, cottage cheese small curds. You can also sous vide your meats. Overall glad you are doing well. I started in my 2 phase but had a set back will taking gulps of liquids I get the worse cramps ever. So now I have really sip sip sip slowly but it will get better. Thank you for sharing

  13. @Fross this is why I love this forum as I was ready to post the topic boom ? I ran into this thread. 1st of all I am happy your wife is doing better, and omg ? I started having this symptoms today sipping and crippling cramping. I did vomit but it was because I felt pressure in my abdomen area and that really helped. Likewise I spoke to my dr and he stated to be on clear liquids and sip slowly. This give me hope thank you for sharing
  14. @cheryl o thank u ?. Today out of all the days I started getting really bad cramps every time I sip on liquids greater than 30 ml = 1 once feel me stomach bloated. Pain meds help a bit I consulted my dr he said to go back and tried 15 ml every 15 minutes but it still hurts like ?
  15. @lizonaplane congratulations on ur weight loss, extended release medication would be a problem for people like me that did the bypass because of the anatomical changes down. You should not have any issues. I would still suggest to speak with your surgeon.
  16. @Shagami at 1st read Thought your nick was Shinigami. Wow ? that was a long time ago and indeed your information does help and thank you for sharing. Can you share more about your life changes and how have you benefited long term from your RnY surgery.
