  2. I feel exactly the same way about the staff. There is one in particular that is very nice, her name missy. I basically refuse to deal with anyone else at this point. It sucks th it is such a rat race. But well worth it you know. Well gl to you lisa and all others.

  4. I'm in the same boat ocean gal. Got approved , called , called back and now he is gone for the next month and a half. They allowed me to switch to dr. fiallo and they are calling me back with my appt time later today. It's all kinda disapointing but hopefully it will all work out. See you guys on monday!:frown:

  9. :smile:I think you all make such wonderful points. It is our devine right as a human being to treat our bodies the way we want. Often times people get jealous when they see people go through such dramatic changes inside and out. I know for me I have limited who I have told only because people see my age and they think what are you doing to yourself. or your taking the easy way out. Basically in my life its a need to know basis.When I am comfortable enough to talk about it I will. Good luck to you all!!!!
  10. There are so many things I want to be able to do once I have lost all of my weight. 1. Go to the Red sox games with my boyfriend and not feel like I can't fit into the chair. 2. shop in normal stores 3. go to the gym without a million eyes on me. 4. Take pictures comfortbly. I could go on and on.

  15. Thanks Froggie!! Ann: The doc said that with my Bmi he would not do the gastric bypass on me. I was definitely not interested in that anyway but as far as the lap band goes he said he is fine to do it. Wait and see I guess. Thanks for all your support.
  16. I am so sorry that some of you have had to deal with such ignorance tainting your relationships . I believe that each one of us will find someone that can see past our weight no matter what it is and accept it. Acceptance is something difficult to deal with but we all have to accept ourselfs first before anyone else will. This surgery is a fresh start in all aspects of our lifes. Enjoy the journey:smile2:.

  18. My name is Jennifer and I am 20 years old. When I started this process 3 weeks ago my bmi was a 73 now it is a 70. I am so excited to be banded this summer ( I only have one more dietician appt. june 30). I can't wait to have a healthier life and feel better about myself. congrats to all of you doing great out therel.:tt2:
