  1. I'm coming over for lunch! We freeze and use our leftover pancakes made with banana, oatmeal and cottage cheese batter into quick, little sandwiches. This was lunch yesterday - egg salad with that hint of banana. Yum.
  2. Looking to know what pharmaceutical to invest in!
  3. We miss you, Silly Kitty! Wha cha got cookin' of late?! Meow.
  4. Great IDEA! And, at least you did not succumb to making tomato aspic with meat stock! LOL.
  5. What a rewarding project to embark upon. And, such a magical dreamy space! You must send progress pictures. Brings back very fond memories of our family northeast cabins built by my great-grandparents (unfortunately, sold off by rapacious relatives)... My favorite sleeping nook was much like above open window with cool summer breezes and fire flies flitting about. Great casement window details for such a renovation. Will you incorporate them?
  6. LOVE IT! A gal after my own heart. I could not live without my New Yorker magazine, cartoons + collection volumes in my library. I do cut, categorize and file them under food, relationships, design (like this one) and fashion etc. Use cartoons almost daily to share in a personal card, letter of agreements, client design notebooks, design statements and one weekly on kitchen cork board. A familiar and wonderful way of looking at life. Simply genius, really. Does your daughter ship treats? Will place an order with her! LOL. What an amazing legacy. She sounds just like her mother - A true artisan of beauty and purpose, indeed. We are planning to try out the blueberry chocolate bars and white bean soup with best broth ever this weekend from www.nutritionstripped.com ;]

Bachelor and Spinsters ball. What FUN is that! Jake, a possible trip to western Queensland? These Aussie's girls are pretty adorable, I'd say. LOL. I love your blue gown!!! Your hairstyle so glamorous. I'd wear both today in a heart beat. And, taffeta paired with velvet. Glorious. Your impeccable taste will never go out of style... Thank you so much for sharing. ;]

What a scream! Haha. Oh the hell with being politically correct - Jake's a HUNK a HUNK of burning love! Right? Where's Elvis when we need him. LOL.
  10. Thank you for sharing these incredible links! I just ordered Nutrition Stripped: 100 whole food recipes. I will enjoy exploring both sites including One Green Planet. Not to mention, these little perfect bite sized superfood treats to die for. Did you make and photograph these, too? They are textured and sculpted beautifully... Look so forward to discovering more scrumptious delectables + recipes. Fun! Quality carbs so important for fueling body and brain. I become quite foggy and fussy without them.
  11. Oh Ms. PollyEster, you made my day! No, my week. No, my month! Some additional major cancellations and/or delays for meaningful and happily anticipated events for late October surfaced recently. You're thoughtful and encouraging words meant so much. And, becoming more comfortable with being uncomfortable. I like that! Thank you. Keep safe and sound, as well.
  12. Ta Da - lunch today! Egg salad (on 1 ½ Firehook crackers) with fresh chives, red onion, bread & butter pickles, black ground pepper with a little mayo. Very hungry today. Ate it all. ;]
  13. Did they give you a new surgery date or possible timeline in moving forward? Hopefully, by early Fall or sooner? Let's keep our fingers crossed we clear this Florida spike sooner than later. Meanwhile, some virtual posies cheering on your resolve and dedication to becoming healthier and fit. So excited for you! ;]
  14. Now, I need to go make egg salad. Looks delish. ;]
  15. Thanks! I've definitely been channeling my inner 1950's domestic diva these days... I mean like, oh goody, my big highlight of the week out of this humble household is grocery shopping tomorrow! Yay. And, vacuuming and cleaning the potty in a dress is even more fulfilling. Dinner tonight? Grilled BBQ prime rib steak and roasted green beans with strawberries at hubby's request. Live dangerously, I say! Join us for dinner Silly Kitty here on the exciting southeast coast where we are literally going VIRAL. LOL.

I feel honored. LOL. Jake, what another wonderful transformation since seeing you early winter!!!! WOW. AMAZING. You have tightened and contoured to perfection. Your dedication, resolve and hard work must be so rewarding... And, the young ladies at the gym OR jumping out of airplanes must be drooling. The world is your oyster! And, so well deserved. :]

You look F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!! But, do be careful and stay safe out there.
  18. While I cannot speak to Dr. Wizman or CSC - I can endorse whole heartedly Dr. Shillingford (and NW medical center) as one of the finest facilities, and surgeons in Florida for WLS. There is a complete recovery wing dedicated to bariatrics with a specialized team - A knowledgable, respectful and caring staff under the direction of Dr. Shillingford. My experience 1 year and 7 months out has been a positive and excellent one! I know five other individuals who would refer him without hesitation in their WLS journey. So sorry for your delay and these current precarious circumstances. How disappointing. That being said, Dr. Shillingford is worth the wait. Best wishes and much success. Keep me posted on what transpires.

Okay, Jake. It's your turn to show us your arms!

Look at that tiny tiny waist. Fit and fabulous! ;]
  21. Welcome Cat7! Peaches rule, right!? And, they have been sooooo good this year shipped from California and Georgia. Very nice presentation, by the way. Looks delish! ;]
  22. Definitely continue to share! We do appreciate and value your craft + art immensely. Your food content and styling is exquisite, PE. Continuing to style + photographing is a worthy and great goal in this pandemic. As is your commitment to eat clean, healthy and lean. I'm a creative professional, too. An interior designer trying to remain relevant, positive and creative by doing the same around the house + garden. Illustrating, baking/cooking (hubbies strawberry rhubarb 4th of July pie a few years back - we don't eat this way now...) and staging simple vignettes. I get it! LOL. All the personal and career cancellations and postponements are daunting and a lot to process. Just on a perpetual "ON HOLD" button. LOL. No longer able to plan ahead with confidence. Along with striving to maintain and commit to our new WLS lifestyles. And, many of us were so excited to come out of the closet with fun, new, down sized fabulous fashions after recently arriving at our goals. PollyEster, your posts are timely and inspiring! I feel honored. Thank you.

I am really missing that social interaction, too... Actually, grieving. Fashion is far more than a fine garment. Here is a lovely note written from leather artisan who made this stunning customized belt for me this past winter. Designed to wear front, side or back. Never had an opportunity to wear it out as yet. ;[ We must go shopping together someday! I adore black. Neutrals. And, a pop of color or pattern once in a while.
  24. Carnitas for lunch today sprinkled with lime juice.
