Great minds think a like! We had convection bake roasted chicken thighs (marinated in fresh orange juice, olive oil, chili flakes) with corn + green beans tonight. Leftovers will be great for lunch salads. Agree. Simple and tasty. ;]

Extraordinary! Love both outfits and those SHOES...wow! So fluid and feminine. Looks as though spring has sprung? Cheers to kryptonite. I just added some grey to my closet, too, with soft cotton T and flats. BUT I truly admire your silver and pewter mules. ;] Flat style, I wonder? Wish my knees could tolerate a higher heel. ;[

Just pan fried the pepper steak dish on electric stove top. Browned steak first with a splash of olive oil - Set meat aside. Turned up heat to sear peppers and onions in steak drippings. Added steak back for serving. I'm sure this would work on the Weber. We have that model, too. Here's a beefy BQ rib eye steak, chicken + pork chops we grilled this past summer. They turned out delicious providing ample servings thru the week. Kept the sides light with roasted green beans, strawberries and slivered almonds. Also great for leftovers. Early in Covid our thread was really craving hardy. Can't wait to see your Weber creations! ;]

Just picked up my favorite favorite wool sweater from the tailor today who re-constructed it from a 3X to a small. This was the only garment I did not give away from top weight. They did a fabulous job - but thinking the crest pocket needs straightened? What do you think? Oh no, need new winter white flats to replace the size 8's that went with the sweater. Wear a size 7 now. ? BTW, don't mind the athletic wear underneath OR the BIG hair! Haha. Stylist poufs it out compensating for our sub-tropic humidity. By tomorrow... I'll look less like the Lennon sisters from the Lawrence Welk show! ;]

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! The outfit AND shoes. Looks like you might just pull off the shoes - if safe and comfortable(?) to walk in. Such a shame to discard such beauts! I think we both dropped an entire shoe size. Ugh.

Dinner tonight. Filet Mignon strips (digest this cut better) pepper steak and onion with acorn squash. Forgot to take my portion plate picture. ;\

Was totally inspired by all the previous delicious pizza posts! Firehook brand crackers are my simple go to... And, tolerated well with their extra baked and crispy dynamic. Ate two strips + ¼ salad for dinner. These like the bagel ones with Swiss cheese and honey crisp apple slices are to DIE for!

I find personally, Cotija cheese has a mild flavor and light airy texture. It is sprinkled here on my Mexican Street Corn - Salads, beans and other dishes where you do not wish for a pungent, overwhelming or heavy cheese. Definitely try it! I don't think you'll be disappointed. ms.sss may also have suggestions on how she uses it. And, I do believe Greentea can chime in on this, as well. ;] I also like it on poached pears - a nice contrast in flavors.

Yay! My salad partner in crime. Tonight's dinner. I think you might have enjoyed this rather esoteric salad mix (felt adventurous) with white grape wheels, honey glazed walnuts, currants, mini cucumbers, sage baked turkey breast, hard boiled egg, Cotija cheese sprinkled with crispy onion garnish. Dressing is a creamy corn + ranch blend.

Made mini meatloafs with ground chuck (more moist) oatmeal, carrots, shallots and garlic for little lettuce sandwiches thru the week. Tricolor Quinoa salad made with fresh mint slivers, white kidney beans, dates, tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic + shallots in light olive oil and wine vinegar. Really makes a nice high protein salad or side. Building up my protein intake for vein ablation this Thursday on left leg. Super foods for healing! Ate entire portion. ;]

Yay! I finally found it! Cropped, too, for us petites. Much too lazy to model today... definitely an all day PJ's kind of day. My prim and proper Aunt would have been astounded that one would purchase any garment without a finished hem. Haha. ;]

Belle & Evans roasted chicken thighs tossed in orange vinaigrette with chili flakes + mixed cauliflower, dates, kale salad for dinner with said vinaigrette. I ate the small thigh without the skin and ¼ of salad - the rest was Mr. Sophie's portion.

Ahhhhh, the classic jean jacket. A timeless staple for every wardrobe! These are my two favorites purchased after WLS. Great for concealing saggy arms, too. You must model for us your new consignment finds, plus that perfect little jean jacket when you find it! Fun. I just love ms.sss's jacket, too. It would look splendid with her gauzy pieces before summers end. I'm currently on the look out for a white jean jacket to replace former size 2X one. ;]

Thanks! Still need that brachioplasty + abdomen scar revision to pull the dress off without a shawl. Re-scheduled surgery for November due to client/project needs early Fall. Need my arms and hands fully operational right now to draft up floor plans, elevations, architectural details etc. effectively. It will be wonderful someday to wear a short sleeve dress or blouse without the need to cover the bat wings! Pretty scary, right? Skin is so heavy on my small frame now. Each arm probably weighs one pound in loose skin. Oh boy. Until then - wiggle jiggle at the drafting board we go... Haha. ;]

Boy, and they say California girls have all the fun! I wish we all could be Aussie girls... I think the BeachBoys need a re-write. What a fabulous option! Looks divine. You even match the black helicopter. A Vogue spread, indeed. Enjoy! Have room for an American girl?

I'm in State College (my hometown) later next week!!! You can bring me over some! Haha. I use to be a big meat and potatoes gal... now a flexitarian with preference for veggies, nuts, beans and crustaceans. I can only tolerate tiny bites of beef, chicken or pork in less than 2 oz. However, I still do well and enjoy a little tender lamb chop with mint jelly. Maybe Monday's dinner?! :]
