  1. I know you asked for longtime sleevers but I am 7 months out and don't really feel any different except that I am conscious of not being able to eat like I used to. I have so much more energy and feel fabulous mentally and physically.
  2. Congratulations on reaching your goal. And some say that bariatric surgery is the easy way out!! BOO on them.
  3. I am 7 months out and have lost 86 pounds.
  4. Good luck tomorrow even though you won't need it. You've got this.
  5. At this point in time, all you can do is your best. It took a long time to get water and protein in. Some times I still don't get all my protein in and I'm 6 months out.
  6. I did mine at home in 2016
  7. Can't stand sweet stuff much anymore myself. I do put flavored drink powder in my water bottle but only enough to flavor the water a little bit. I drink protein drinks in the mornings but can't stand premier protein drink or shakes anymore. YUCK!!!
  8. I do have the saggy skin and will get rid of it when I am done losing. I have never had a flat stomach and would like to have one once.
  9. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic and have to definitely watch my carbs. I have had several Low blood sugar‘s but can take care of them with Glucose tablets. Good luck I know that you can get through this.
  10. CONGRATULATIONS on your approval. Yes please take your pre-op diet very seriously. It will help you in the long run with your new tummy and your new eating habits.
  11. Awesome job, Brentx
  12. I didn’t keep it a secret but I didn’t go around telling everybody either my husband of course knows my children my sisters and some of the people that I’m close to. As for judgment I don’t care because I didn’t do it to just lose weight and to look better I did it because of my health I’m a diabetic I’m a cancer survivor and I have high blood pressure, My cancer is gone, My blood pressure is much lower, and my blood sugar is under take control of this is what matters to me, I don’t care what anybody says I did this for me and nothing else.
  13. I have lost up to 3 pounds overnight. I am a runner and walker, this I do every day. I don't weigh myself every day but I do once a week, that way I don't get disappointed if I don't lose. Good luck with your journey.
  14. I'm sorry you are feeling so tired. As for the water, I was having a hard time getting my 64 oz in also until I figured out that if I drink 8 oz every hour for 8 hours I can get it in. That gives you a full hour to drink 8 oz. If your exhaustion does not remedy itself I suggest seeing your surgeon. Good luck with your water and everything else. You have this.
  15. You will be able to eat salads again but need to take it one step at a time. First, try just a plain salad and the little by little add your veggies. I love salads myself and started slow. I don't eat much of it period. Just don't start out strong. Just a little at a time.
  16. Ahh. That is very interesting.
  17. I'm just curious as to where in MI you are?
  18. No, I didn't cheat on my two-week pre-diet, but I sure wanted to
  19. I'm a little under an hour from you, Lansing.
  20. Just want to congratulate you on reaching your goal.
  21. I do this also. The most steps I have taken so far is over 24,000 steps in one day.
  22. Fitbit has a scale called Aria 2 that uses wifi and calculates body fat, BMI, and a couple of other things. I bought one but could not get it to sync so I sent it back. I really wanted to keep it but again it wouldn't sync.
